We'll know which states are red, blue, and battleground after the election. Anyone claiming to know for certain how a state will fare on election night is full of it.
As Dance said, the urban/suburban ratio is what matters, way more so than whether a state is chock full of liberals or conservatives (it's just not that simple anymore). |

Certainly not if they live here. If you Import 3rd world people, you turn your place into the 3rd world. George Bush spent half a billion dollars building them nicer squatter shacks. Excuse me... "colonias" In the United States, a colonia is a type of unincorporated, low-income, slum area located along the Mexico–United States border region that emerged with the advent of informal housing. No running water, no sewage system, no health care, minimal if any education- instead of deporting them, he gave them more money. google the term if you want to see what we put up with. Parts of Texas look like an occupied military zone. Absolutely heartbreaking and infuriating. |

I hate cowards.
Look at these #s out of Denton and Collin from "Manny": "Trump won Denton County, a Dallas suburb, 57%/37%. Republicans currently lead 64%/26% in mail-in ballots returns and in-person early voting with 28% of the 2016 vote total in 22% of the 2016 vote in." 18h In Texas, per TargetSmart, GOPers have expanded their combined VBM/in-person early voting lead to eight points. This is entirely due to robust in-person EV among Republicans. Dems, who led strongly in the miniscule VBM count, are now being left by the wayside. |

Quoted: This highlights what America and the future of America is, not really (D) vs (R) but urban vs suburban. There is no rural America, only urban and suburban. Urban is 90% (D Communist), Suburban is around 50/50 or 60/40 (D Communist/R Socialist). The majority of the population is in urban areas. View Quote |

California is fucked up beyond belied, homeless people everywhere, tent cities that stretch for block and block in major tourist areas, out of control wildfires. electricity being turned off due to fire danger, feces and used needles everywhere. Literal crazy people and zombies running through the streets screaming at people, and then released a bunch of of people form jail and prison, and then they passed a statewide law that theft under $900 was a misdemeanor and very unlikely to be prosecuted. And now those assholes are fleeing the wastelands they created and are moving to AZ, NV and TX. Fuck 'em all. |

Quoted: Texas has always been a "Battleground" state. It goes through periods of red and blue. Always has. Of course the most conservative Governator we had in the past 30 years was a Democrat. She was a tough old broad too. I liked her, and had the opportunity to meet her one morning. I wasn't all that in line with some of her politics, but she was an amazing woman. YMMV View Quote I knew Anne Richards personally from a cross connection with her Daughter & Granddaughters. Of course I've followed & been involved in Texas Politics & Gun Rights from the 80s. Your calling Anne Richards the Democrat as "The most conservative Governator we had in the past 30 years" is pants on head retarded - what drugs are you on? - why are you falling down drunk at 10am level stupid. She actively tried every slimy trick to block Texans from having Concealed Carry. (In fact, many people believe that cost her the election)... You must be VERY "Lost in Tejas" to make a statement as patently crazy as that... (hint - Austin ain't Texas!) BIGGER_HAMMER |

But the Texas going blue bullshit was in full effect when Cruz beat Beto, even though Cruz barely campaigned and Beto had National dnc support, the media, Hollywood and way more money. Let's also remember that Abbott beat Valdez with a nice margin. Valdez was SUCH a terrible Candidate! It's like GOP strategists huddled and said, "WHO would be the worst possible Democrat we could get to run against our party?" Even in the Blue Wave of 2018, she underperformed significantly compared to other "D" candidates. |

Funny how all the "out of state experts" forget that in the primaries that Trump, basically unopposed, received more votes than the top 4 Ds (Biden, Bernie, Bloomberg, Warren) combined.
Cornholio (Cornyn) received more Senate primary votes than ALL the D Senate candidates, combined. |
