Quoted: Nice cherry picked screenshot. Here's the view to the right. It got hot enough for decks to collapse and steel windows to sag to the point of almost being closed. Want to place bets on how long it takes them to gut that thing to the bare hull and rebuild? They won't. They don't have the shipbuilding capability to do it in Sevastopol, and they can't get it out of there. Poland built that landing ship anyways so it's not like they're going to tow it back to the shipyard that built it and have it rebuilt. Poland will tell them to fuck off. That's a total loss. https://i.ibb.co/nPTx57M/IMG-3351.png https://i.ibb.co/gDBvFXC/IMG-3352.png View Quote |

They can block all warships. Regardless of size. #4 is not an exception to #1. #4 are the treaty limitations on tonnage that can traverse at any one time. The only way Russia is sailing any warships into the Black Sea is if Turkey decides to buy a line about "they're just returning to home port" or if Turkey decides to say that particular warship isn't actually a warship. Again, subject to Turkey's discretion. Turkey has clearly stated, no new warships may enter. None have, including landing ships. |

What happened to the ones that were damaged during the Ukrainian Tochka strike on berdyansk and the Drone attacks? Specifically the Olenegorsky Gornyak, Novocherkassk, and Ceasar Kunikov? Motives are notoriously hard to distinguish via text. For example, I've tried to get to some level of shared understanding with a UkeBro about four posts up, who told me in in no uncertain terms to get fucked. That's fine. My paycheck is solid either way. But it lets me know what the real intellectual basis of their argument is, which is "shut up and color, us lefties are right on this one and if you disagree you're in bed with Russsian Collusion!" I mean, its an argument, and I think I'd think I'd every right to tell such a person they're a waste of site resources, but alas, our COC. Don't want to be Vito113'd. |

Quoted: Not in the slightest. I can't think of a single thing that UKR provides that the US should be interested in View Quote I think anyone that eats food is going to miss Ukrainian agricultural products being on the world market, including us in the US. Not like my bill for groceries isn't high enough already. While grain is a fungible commodity, and most Ukrainian grain went to Africa and the Middle East, a much higher cost of groceries there in the next few years could lead to instability. @Daemon734
@FlyNavy @NavyDoc1 @fadedsun We are growing tired of getting reports from these threads involving several of you bickering at each other about the same topics, over, and over, and over. If it continues, you will begin finding yourselves banned from every thread we get a report on, because oftentimes the reporter is just as guilty as the perceived "personal attack" as the reportee. Enough already. |
