I graduated High School in 1978.
Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet, Charley Daniels, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, there was plenty of good stuff in the Seventies. Mausers in barrels at Department Stores and Hardware stores for $30. Cars and clothes sucked. The eighties though.... the eighties rocked..... I think.....what I can remember of them..... |

Born in 1966 so I remember the 70's well.
Seemed like a really weird time to me. Everything polyester, psychedelic colors and patterns everywhere, stupid TV shows... (Big foot vs. 6 million dollar man) Loved the 80's though! Patrick |

I had some plaid pants as a little boy. Remember the appliance colors?
Harvest gold and puke green. The first house I can remember going up in had red carpet through out. Brite red f$king carpet...... |

I was there and rocking long hair and a leisure suit with platform soles on my shoes. My dad kept threatening to set my hair on fire or shave it off in my sleep if I didn't get it cut, I just gave him the peace sign and rocked on.

Born in late 79 so I wasn't really there for the 70s. One thing that came to mind looking at the OP's pics. The flamboyant outfits might have been because most of those dudes are painfully ugly. View Quote And sold out every concert. |
