Great pics, and thanks for sharing.
Although I'm only ~ 7 hours from Vegas, I've yet to go to a Shot Show. |

Very cool, thank you
Looking forward to the Caracal review Does the SR22 have an exposed hammer? |
|
Does Boyd have any more "Cimarron" pics he could share with us?

Very cool, thank you Looking forward to the Caracal review I REALLY want one. Supposedly they plan on keeping mag prices at an acceptable level, too. I'm excited. |

Of course Dirty Harry's gun is beat up... it's been well used I guess getting blown up in that car with Hal Holbrook didn't help it much either. |

Hal Holbrook is one of my favorite actors, my favorite role was in Creepshow Did you get an opportunity to speak to a Caracal rep? There are Caracals available in the US already, but very low numbers. Did they mention when full scale import might be taking place? |
|
Great pictures and thank you. I can see a Savage .22 in my future.

OP what did you think about the 45ACP revolver? It is hard to discribe how smooth that action is. The double action trigger pull was just great. I'd sure like to shoot one. |

I spent some time with him and he was very interested in my doing an evaluation on their pistols. He assured me that they will be picking up production soon and we would be seeing them on the market. He exchanged business cards with me and said he will be in contact with me in a couple of weeks. I will report back then. |

Great pictures and thank you. I can see a Savage .22 in my future. Ted and I were very impressed with those rifles. Their triggers are just amazing. I bet with a high quality scope they would just put the bullets through the same hole. |
|
I played with a Caracal for a minute at a LGS last week, neat little gun. $500ish, points like a glock (a bit high for me) but is ergonomic otherwise. Reminds me of what would happen if a Glock, Steyr, and P7 all mated.
|
|
Did you see any new and interesting rifles, aside from the Mossberg 30/30 that is?
Can you tell me more about the new Model 29? Is this a true re-pro of the older models? |

It really is a laser beam with my Leupold scope on it. The Accu-Trigger really is excellent. |

The designer of that Caracal was a former Glock employee who went on to design the Steyr M and S series pistols. Edit: Wilhelm Bubits is the person I'm referring to. |

I'm liking that Sig Fastback Nightmare 1911! Thanks for the pics, sounds/looks like it was a lot of fun.

Did you hold the mossberg tactical lever gun? how is it ergonomically. I know its a visual abomination, but if it is functional, at least it has some merit.
|
|
What a blast. I have a revolver on the radar and that S&W 325 looks slick. Great pics O_P. Thanks for the effort. |
|
Thanks for the great pics and commentary O_P!
You deliver the goods as always. |

Those mossberg lever gun's made me sad.

Awesome pics O_P!
Did Glock mention when they were gonna start selling the Gen III models again? |

I didn't make it this year. Any game changers? Yep, I missed you, Bill. That Mossbery lever gun is a "game changer" fo sho. |

That Spartan / Molon Labe 1911 is indeed sweet
I couldnt quite make out the MSRP . . . . do you remember what it was ? |
|
I really like the SIG 1911s but hate that they use the damn external extractor.
