I got tired of waiting and paid for season 2. Now I'm waiting for season 3.

I would caution you against it for the simple fact that once you get really into it, SyFy will cancel it and leave you with an open cliffhanger.

Thought I saw all of it on Netflix. What evers been completed or maybe I saw it on FX? I thought it was ok, kind of slow going. Lots of hard science rather than fiction in the series. Not sure when the next season (3?) starts - need to go wiki and see if there is anything there yet.

Had promise, but execution was just a little off. Not sure if it was casting, writing or a little of both.

Lol truth. I give it a 7.5/10, kinda of lacking in some areas but overall a pretty good show. Worth watching IMO.

Binge watch.

Second season has weird pacing issues.

Also the story line takes a weird turn.

That one episode like season 2 episode 4 I thinkis amazing with the space battle.

I like the weapons on the ships, seems realistic and what I would expect combat to be but like in space but i am no physicist!! LOL

Yes. Budget limits on FX become apparent in some scenes, but overall really worth a watch. It’s a very “realistic” sci-fi world.

Yup it's totally better. The android and 5 were the best part of the show. I do enjoy watching the expanse and I'm almost finished with reading book seven in the expanse series. IMHO the writer has lost his way with the expanse plot.

It does take a few liberties but it's better than about 99% of modern sci-fi which is WWII in space.

The expanse is awesome

My only complaint was I could never figure out the persona for the Alex Kamal's character. One minute he seems to be just a normal character and then the next minute he's a rootin' tootin' John Wayne character. It tended to be a little distracting.

Some of the politics were a bit confusing, but overall it is (was?) a good series. If it comes back on, I'll watch it again.

The first season sucked because they didn't explain anything that was going on, so it made no sense. There was also a lot of stupidity going on, mainly with the character that Thomas Jane played. The second season actually turned things around and explained things and the season became quite interesting. I was waiting for a 3rd season, but, looks like they may not have renewed it. Or, if they did, they're skipping a year to release it?
