Quoted: I'm going with Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher. Are there worse options I've not thought of?? View Quote Tom Cruise has been miscast in several roles. I’d say he was far worse in both Rock of Ages (a musical of all things) and Interview With a Vampire. Alan Ritchson as Reacher in the TV series was an even worse choice as Jack Reacher. Cruise wasn’t the best choice but at least he gave the character a personality. Ritchson’s version of Reacher comes across as a meat head with no personality. |

Arnold Schwarzenegger was offered the role of Gen. Hummel in The Rock. He turned it down.
Would have made for a weirder movie than it already was. An American General with a thick Austrian accent? |

Michael Caine as Robert Duvall's brother in second hand lions,. Couldn't get past the English accent.
|

|
Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson. Should have gone to Emma Stone.

Let me let you in on something that is not a secret. 97% of the people that saw the movie probably didn’t even know there was a book. Cruise did a good job in the movie, and it did pretty well at the box office. It would have probably made less money if they would have found somebody that matched the description from the book. |

Casting Dakota Skye in "Fat Chicks with dicks" was a huge mistake.

Amy Adams in Man of Steel and later movies. Sucked as Lois Lane.

Jim Carry as the Grinch or that fuckhead that played Ricky Bobby. I forget his name every time.

That black chick as the queen of England. I care so little to remember the name of the movie.

Thomas Sanger as the ‘sexy guy’ in The Queen’s Gambit. My Wife’s nomination, I’m on board with the aforementioned John Way pic.

Keanu Reeves in Devil’s Advocate. Him trying to pull off a “southern” accent completely distracted from what should have been a good movie.

The little weasel that played Matty in that horrible Red Dawn remake.

Tommy Lee Jones as Gen. Douglas MacArthur.
Gregory Peck nailed the role, right down to having hair removed to make a bald spot |
