Slight thread drift.... I was a german language minor and I had visited Germany in the summer on 1989, before the Wall came down that fall.
Obviously, all the nazi and SS stuff was completely avoided because I had no clue what a Totenkopf symbol was until 5 minutes ago.

I understand people have their personal opinions, but this wasn't a smart move. Really bad PR at best. SS Totenkompf. Really?
The Scout Sniper community has used the SS runes for years, but it's controversial. Frowned upon, officially. The intelligent Scout Sniper keeps it under the radar.
