Stag and Hanley beer.  Doubt anyone here has tried it unless you are from the mid-west in the 50s - early 70s.  Hanley might have been the worst I have ever had in my life.

Stag was still being sold in in the St. Louis area in 2004; I remember it (not so) fondly.

You can still see full alphanumeric flight boards in some airports today though. The chatter is a convenient notification that something has changed.

I remember those smudged blue images, but not the smell.  I also have a vague memory of a teacher cranking them out.

I still own multiple vehicles with the floor mounted dimmer switch, two of which are manual transmissions, and I've never in 30+ years of driving had a problem, but we're all different.

If I could order new vehicles with the floor mounted switch I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I remember some of the stores having locked stalls in the bathroom that you had to put a dime in to open. (We always crawled under the door) ??

Radio Shack actually having the best radio controlled toys.

Spending hours trying to record songs off of the radio using a separate tape recorder.

Corduroy pants that were very loud when the legs rubbed against each other.

Commodity (Reagan) cheese.

Those little cap revolves that took the ring of caps.

Getting your mom to buy certain cereals just for the toy inside.

Getting cracker Jacks so you could get the baking soda submarine only to be disappointed every time when it was a temporary tattoo.

Saturday nights when your friends spent the night you would always say that you were going to stay up all night only to fall asleep by 10:30 ??

Lightning bugs (fire flies).

Sitting on the porch for hours talking when company came over not wanting it to ever end.

Having company,

Visiting friends/family ?????
