I think I've seen two movies he was in. But at least he's not in the "news" everday telling me how bad the country is.

He goes through great lengths to make his movie stunts “real” vs CGI.

He was attached to the side of a military aircraft as it took off in one of the MI movies.

There is something totally screwed up about his relationship with his kids. The guy is no model father, I'll say that much. I don't remember what it was but it made him look like a real asshole.

As long as he doesn't drag his movies into "Xenu & the Thetans" scientology territory (I'm talking about YOU John Travolta with 'Battlefield Earth'), I'm O.K. with him as an actor.

Find him funny, a good action actor and he has aged well.

For someone who seems to make a some smart moves, it's curiously ironic how he buys into a charlatan like David Miscavidge.  It seems like an inconsistent.

Dude likes motorcycles and he makes decent films. Really one of the last dude's making legit blow shit up summer blockbusters anymore in the likes of Die Hard, Terminator type stuff without all the touchy feely nonsense. And he does his own stunts for the most part. He is legit and an icon in action film. One of the last still doing it. I don't care that he is a complete loon in everyday life, not looking to hang out with the guy.

And they aren't perfect stuns. Really sells the "spent time in prison" or "getting a little older now" aspect of Mr Hunt where it applies.

If you ever need me quit and occupied like a small child watching whatever kids show is hot, then the Mission: Impossible movies are the ticket.

On paper he seems like a cool guy, but there is something about him that screams kook to me.

Like, if you were to hang out with him it would be fun up until he corners you in a hotel room and breaks out the scientology literature, thetan machine, and gay porn while constantly saying "this is so gay, I'm not gay, why are we watching this its so gay, can you imagine the people who watch this seriously, I'm not gay, but could you imagine? Hey what do you think your thetan levels are while watching dude on dude? Let's fire up the machine!"

he knows chicks dig fit men.  He's what, 56yo?, and still more fit than 99% of American men.  I'm not gay but I can respect a man who must work out and diet like a complete maniac because it's his livelihood on the line.  "Mmmm.... oreo cookies.... shit, I'm still making movies, better have a stick of celery instead" is intense.

I could see a guy who got famous and rich young being an asshole when he was young, and being completely down to earth at 56.  Now he's an icon, he's been making awesome successful movies for 35+ years, he's still at the top of his game as an actor, he's fabulously rich, what does he have to prove to anybody?

His MI movies are great (except for the one we don't speak about, the one in between MI:1 and MI:3).

When they make a biopic of my life, I want Tom Cruise to play me, with Samuel L. Jackson's voice dubbed in.
