I have watched while everybody said the drink Trayvon Martin had was for lean! So, I asked a black guy I know if he had heard of it and he said yes. I asked him had he heard of the Arizona Watermelon being used and he said never but he called a cousin that is hooked on it. The cousin said nobody uses can drinks for lean because you can't shake the cough syrup and drink together. He said they use drinks with a replaceable top. If you aren't able to shake the concoction, the syrup would just settle to the bottom of your drink and defeat the purpose of mixing. Can any of our resident LE posters shed some light on this please. Decant both can and cough medicine into a bigger bottle and mix it? Seems straight forward enough. The codeine itself was $40/oz. The most popular is the grape/carbonated sprite setup mainly because grape flavored codeine was easiest to get. Next was cherry flavored codeine mixed with Big Red carbonated soda. I worked a case where a guy in central Texas would fly to L.A. every 8-10 days and buy 10-12 GALLONS of grape flavored codeine syrup for $10/oz. and sold it for $40. He only flew back when he was sold out. Popular business. |
