Don't hate because we kicked fundamentalist Islamic and secular Arab ass after 9/11. Did you Korean War, 'Nam, Grenada, Panama vets do this? Nope.... Someone had to drink all that Green Beans coffee, eat Subway and Burger King, and enjoy lobster tail at the DFAC. Thankfully Trijicon is recognizing our sacrifice. And in 8 to 10 years your ACOG will be dead and you'll either have to buy a new one, or, pay almost as much to have the Tritium replaced.

At least you older guys will have SS and a military pension - 2 things the younger might or might not have.
Crabby bastards. |

The Army pre-deployment ACOG training was inadequate to put it lightly. The gouge you sent over helped a bunch. Then I promptly gave my ACOG to my gunner and kept a CCO on my M4 the whole trip. |

Quoted: Aimpoint has military discounts, both from the manufacturer and tons of vendors. If you plan on buying only things that dont offer the discount due to massive butthurt, your pickings will be pretty slim. Heres are two Leupolds I got 40% off of due to a military discount. About to order a MK6 at 40% off too this month. View Quote I got both my Mark 6s through sweet discount. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm sooo exclusionary. soooo good. |

The problem I saw to why people never used them even with their PVS-14s was the RCO was already at the back or bumped up against the BUIS so there was not really a good way to mount the google behind the RCO, so a few guys mounted them in front, which was good enough for government work, but in generally guys just used their laser and NVGs or used dedicated Night optic. |

In the future - lets only recognize post 9/11 service veterans. That will keep the rif-raf U.S. veterans from fouling things up.

View Quote Yeah I always used the PEQ or PAQ when actually doing things. Hunting with it I just used head mounted dual tubes and focused my shooting eye to the ACOG. Now I just use a clip-on thermal in front, which makes the tritium ultra irrelevant.

This thread is awesome. View Quote It's pretty neat In every other thread in the history of the board Trijicon is an awesome company and ACOGs can't be beat. Then they offer a pretty big discount to some of the people but not all of the people and suddenly they hate veterans more than Obama and peddle over-priced average quality scopes that will burn out in a few years! Now if everyone could agree that ACOGs are complete shit and have a SIG-style blowout on the EE, that would be great |
