It's nice to be able to get home from work and actually be able to do something outside. It would help fend of S.A.D for a lot of people. Bad enough to have to leave for work when it is dark. Having it be dark both to and from work really makes life feel extra shitty in the winter. Naturally California is trying to do away with DST altogether. Yeah, it being dark after work hours won't hurt businesses, especially in tourist areas and near the beach. |

It's RACISM implied in its name. Daylight Savings Time. Daylight has he word light. Light meaning white and not dark. Light meaning white so it's bias against dark. So yeah, it's Racism.

If we stay on DST we will never get that hour back, ever. The only thing I like about the current system is the 49 hour weekend once a year, the 47 hour one sucks. I've been sleepy all day

It is a state issue and Florida already has voted and passed permanent DST but guess who is holding it up.....the federal government in the form of Congress. Now that trump is in favor of it congress will never approve the change.
