I don't live in NY or NJ, and thus, I don't care what they do or don't do about DST. Or their time zone. Or, if they eliminate a.m./p.m. and go to the 24 hour clock format.
It is simply none of my business. Naturally, I would like the same respect afforded decisions made by my home state. |

Permanent DST for the win. I leave the house at 6am most days so it's dark no matter what. Fuck getting dark at 530pm. I like being able to have the option to enjoy the outdoors or work outdoors when I get home. It's dark for the kids going to school in the morning anyway so what's the difference there? Schoolbus picks up most of the kids around me between 630 and 7am.

Needed to be done 20 years ago. And FGWB for changing it by two weeks. I had just bought one of those auto change clocks. Shit still isn't right today. I had to change the day on the clock by one day so it would change on a Saturday instead of a Sunday. Sunday change kept messing me up.
