Also,. A solid rumor that seems to be legit by ppl that were there.
Bunch of officers waiting in hospital. Officers family ( still living officer) in hospital also. Mayor goes there and gets into an argument with the officers family. When mayor tries talking to the large group of officers they all turn their back to her. There is a picture of the incident but doesn't show the mayor. |

I’m not a fan of broad generalizations or treating people based on the color of their skin but you’d have to be blind to ignore that there are very real issues in the black community in urban areas and floating the idea that anybody that brings it up is somehow racist is ignoring the elephant in the room. The problems wont get any better until leaders and community take a look at all of the issues and speak directly to them and I mean every single issue, not the typical talking points about education and opportunity even though that is part of it. The video games, the music and tv/movies non-stop glorification of violence in the black community, the tolerance for illegal conduct, the lack of family structure and leadership, spirituality…..everything. The politicians will literally blame everything under the sun and claim to have answers but none of them have the courage to speak out to effect real and lasting positive change for the black community. Along with the same people (democrats) being in charge in some of these locations for 40+ years without a republican in sight. Chicago currently has a gay, black female democrat mayor. A black police chief. A black female democrat states attorney (that refuses to prosecute criminals). Chicago city council is made up of 50 elected officials. 46 of them are democrat and 4 are independent (democrat). Out of the 46 democrats, 5 of them are in the “democratic socialist” caucus. Cook county, where Chicago resides has a black female democrat as board president. The county board has 17 members. 15 democrats and 2 republicans. Illinois has a democrat governor. They have controlled Chicago for at least 40 years yet take no responsibility for the current situation. |

Our urban areas which are mostly Black now, have become almost uninhabitable for normal law abiding people of any color. You can go State by State, City by City and it is truly frightening what is happening........ Sadly we don't have a single Black Leader in this Country who is in a position of power and influence who cares and can fix these problems. A person of high morale fiber who will put the needs and wants of his or her constituents ahead of their own.
