Quoted: Shit card View Quote Oh hell yeh it was but my buddies wanted to see CM Punk face raped by fists and Stipe defend his title so far it's one down and one still up in the air whether Stipe can make it until Alistair Overroid gasses. Who in the fuck names their male child Alistair? ETA: The evening was 2 for 2 with Cm getting punked and Stipe keeping the belt |

CM Punk went exactly as I thought it would. Yup and CM Punk got a case of cauliflower ear as a souvenir Did Punk get punk'd? Looks like he did. Highlights below. Very one-sided. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiTn01_to-s |

What a shit show of a card.
CM Punk fight went about how most expected. Travis Browne tried to call timeout, then at the end, Coach of the Decade gets push kicked by Werdum as Babalu Sobral tries to rush the cage. Stipe gets dropped but comes back and lands some ground n pound that sent Overeem to the land of wind and ghosts. |

View Quote You forgot Overreem's claim of a "Ghost Tap" by Miocic I missed the cage fight in a cage fight right before declaring Werdum the winner but I did catch some of the "Excitement" of Werdum pointing for someone to leave the cage and a guy from Werdum's team pushing someone toward the door but I wasn't sure if it was over Brown with his self allowed timeout but that is a guess on my part and I have no idea as to why? I also liked when Travis Brown channeled Ronda Rousey and just lumbered straight out through the cage door, pouting like he was fucked over in his fight somehow or thought he won. Either way Travis was wrong on both accounts if that is why he was pissed off |

Quoted: That was an awesome flying kick though. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: that Werdum and Travis Brown fight was weird from the opening bell That was an awesome flying kick though. Yes that flying sidekick as soon as the bell was sounded was awesome and so was Travis Brown looking at his finger with a worried look and calling his own timeout and the ref trying to figure out WTF was going on while Werdum was closing in for a free shot On the opening flying sidekick I yelled FUCK YEH, my wife yelled "What did I miss" from the kitchen and then me explaining to the wife why I wanted Travis Brown to lose and what I meant when I told her Brown has had his brain rattled one too many times I told the wife that Brown should be on a concussion protocol hold for the rest of his life, my wife said "Huh, why" then I told her that Brown was walking around brain dead and the proof was Brown leaving his wife for Ronda Rousey My wife got on the internet, looked at up Brown's ex wife and she concurred by saying "He left her for Ronda? It must have been for the money" |

Punk went straight across the ring, reared back and started to throw a punch and Mickey Gall ducked the punch and put CM Punk on his back with a take down A few punches and a half assed WWE looking rear naked choke and then a real rear naked choke later CM Punk was tapping. When they raised Mickey Gall's hand they showed CM Punk standing there with CM Punk's souvenir of cauliflower ear, showing that ole CM was in a real fight for the first time in his life |

But then we probably wouldn't of seen Werdum kick Edmond. Also, pretty crazy of Travis to continue to fight after compound fracture of his finger. I thought it was just a dislocation or something at the time. |

Fighters can't call for a timeout so the ref dropped the ball on that one, he should have faced Werdum to stop the action. |

UFC Fight Night: Poirier v. Johnson
Main and Prelims on FS1 starting @ 5pm/8pm Pst/Est https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_Fight_Night:_Poirier_vs._Johnson |

I've got in on but this card just isn't doing it. Maybe the main event.
|
|
Montano vs Muhammed wasn't too bad of a fight, this last preliminary seems to be going at a good pace. I'm looking forward to Uriah Hall's fight.
|
|
Just got back to my parents basement and realized they cut my cable, so I had to go up there and whine to get it back.. but I'm good now.
(OK, the only true part of that is, I just got back..lol) I like Dustin Poirier, so looking forward to that one. Edit: Holy shit, that's a way to start a fight. |
|
Oh man, Bisping vs Hendo 2.... I'm guessing Bisping will be very careful about moving to his left.
|
|
I figured Poirier would win that one.. but he got caught really good.
|
|
Damn it! I picked hall and poirier. Just a reminder to never bet on UFC
|
|
|
Hall is too unpredictable plus Brunson is not somebody to sleep on.
I didn't not see Johnson beating Poirier. Figured Poirier had better technique plus fight IQ. Anybody can get caught. That hand speed was crazy. MJ landed a right hook/left cross in about half a second. Insane. |

Haha, Big country kicked John McCarthy in the butt after the fight was over.

Eddie Alvarez to defend lightweight belt vs. Conor McGregor at UFC 205 in New York
UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor will attempt to add lightweight gold to his collection when he challenges Eddie Alvarez in the UFC 205 headliner, which marks the organization’s return to New York after more than 21 years. UFC officials tonight confirmed the matchup. Twitter user @TalkMMA was first to report the news. UFC 205 takes place Nov. 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. Alvarez (28-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) vs. McGregor (20-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC) marks the third championship fight slated for the UFC 205 lineup. Welterweight titleholder Tyron Woodley meets Stephen Thompson, and strawweight champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk faces Polish countrymate Karolina Kowalkiewicz. http://mmajunkie.com/2016/09/conor-mcgregor-gets-lightweight-title-shot-challenges-eddie-alvarez-in-ufc-205-headliner |

205 should be a beast, hopefully everyone stays healthy.
I'm about a half hour through the presser and laughing my ass off. |

Conor's response to Jeremy Stephens was the best of the whole presser.
The monster swipe from Wonderboy was good too. |

Looks like Aldo is pretty butt hurt about not getting his rematch with Conor.
He was all for fighting CM at 205 but. Ow that he was passed up he's asked the UFC to release him so he can 'retire'. Maybe if you lasted more than 13 seconds the first go round, bruh. |

McGregor will make $40M in 2016 he could make that or more from a Mayweather fight. |

Nobody watched the cyborg fight? View Quote I did. It's almost not even entertaining. When Tyson was murdering people, at least they were guys in the same weight class. Cyborg is cutting to 140 but probably walks around at 175-180. She's fighting girls who are probably 145-155. I really have no interest watching these poor, undersized girls get mauled by a much bigger/stronger fighter. At least attempt to make it competitive. |

Jose Aldo walking away from it all?
