I agree he doesn't have the size to be champ at 170 but it's still fun to watch. Same as like GSP at 170 when he was champ. If he had wanted to fight a big name light heavy at the time like Rampage it would have been awesome. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Here's my 2 cents that nobody cares about. Weight divisions exist for a reason. Conor proved a point and probably learned a lot in the process, he also took a lot of damage. Nate is taller/longer than most other 155s, Conor has no business fighting at 170. Conor's advantage of speed/power/movement is perfect for 145 and maybe 155, but it's not going to make him champ at 170. I know you will all give me the for this one, but I have no desire to see Nate and Conor fight again. Get Conor in against people his own size. 145 to 170 is not the same as Cowboy moving to 170 or Rumble fighting at 245. I agree he doesn't have the size to be champ at 170 but it's still fun to watch. Same as like GSP at 170 when he was champ. If he had wanted to fight a big name light heavy at the time like Rampage it would have been awesome. I agree and I don't have a problem with "fun fights". But these guys have such a limited window of their prime. I don't want him wasting time fighting and losing braincells to Diaz when he could be fighting Aldo, Holloway, Edgar, etc. There are plenty of fights for him at 145/155. This isn't like we're talking about DJ. In that case, I'd have no problem seeing Demetrious Johnson against TJ Dillashaw, Dominick Cruz, etc. There's literally nobody for him to fight that has a name. |

This would be my guess of Conors next fight.
Conor McGregor's coach reveals the fight he wants to see next Conor McGregor's coach likes the idea of adding another title to his resume. Conor McGregor has plenty of options for his next fight, but his coach would like to see another gold belt decorating the Irishman's shoulder. Just days after McGregor earned a majority decision victory over Nate Diaz at UFC 202, his head coach John Kavanagh stated his preference for what comes next. Kavanagh would like to see McGregor challenge Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title, which is an option that UFC president Dana White has mentioned as a possibility. Kavanagh also added that health wise McGregor could be ready as early as UFC 205 in New York on Nov. 12 but there's been no actual discussions as far as a date for the Irishman's return. http://www.foxsports.com/ufc/story/conor-mcgregors-coach-reveals-the-fight-he-wants-to-see-next-082516?cmpid=nl_fs_edition_08262016 |

My guess is that Conor's power will also be 'back' at 155. If the Alvarez fight happens, Conor by knockout first round. I don't think I can remember a 155 pound champ that is as beatable as Alvarez. Probably why everybody is calling him out, I know Cowboy would love to get back in there and demolish him again. |

Eddie Alvarez is a great fighter and seems like a pretty good guy. But he's been in some wars. I have to wonder how much damage he can take. i'm not saying he has a glass chin, but i have a sinking feeling we're gonna see him get old over night.

Conor has already established that he doesn't give a shit about what his coach says, at least when it comes to who he should fight next.
IIRC his hole team was against fighting Nate again. |

View Quote All he needs to do is call Nate and let him know that he is going to fight Alvarez for the 155 belt with the agreed condition from Dana that if he wins it his first title defense is against Nate. Dana would agree to that. |

Boy howdy, that Bellator main event sucked ass last night.
Still not sure where Pit bull broke his foot. But it did have a purple goose egg on it. Benson is but a shadow of his former self. |

Main card starting now. The last 4 fights are actually really solid. How can you not love Joe Lauzon v. Jim Miller?

Not buying this one, and our FP is screwed up. The Maia/Condit fight is one I wish I could watch.

So his answer is 'yes' but I've gotta tell you, I'm unimpressed with the FireTV app. I have a hard time streaming old stuff with it; it's not easy to find and it seems to forget who I am. |

I wish Cody the best. I enjoy watching him fight! A lot of people I have heard talk thinks that all Cody can do is box but he was a hell of a wrestler too. Cody's older brother Zach hit a 5 point move with 5 seconds left in the state title match to win the state title by 1 point That 5 point move gave me goose bumps as I was a "Jock" and wrestled in high school and my youngest son is good friends with Zach and knows Cody. I also know Cody's uncle Bobby real good although I haven't seen the uncle in awhile but Bobby taught Cody and Zach how to box and Bobby taught my kids for awhile when they were younger and Bobby knows his shit and with good reason |
