I'm much more excited about Sandhagen vs Yan than I was about Yan vs Sterling. Yan proved in their first fight that Sterling doesn't have much for him. Sterling can't take him down, and his pitter patter striking on the feet posed no threat to Yan.
On the other hand, Sandhagen is one of the best strikers at 135, he has real power (unlike Sterling), and his length is going to pose real problems for anyone at 135. I still lean towards Yan, but I think this is much more interesting than the Sterling fight. Oh, and Sterling needs to be stripped yesterday. Yan vs Sandhagen should be for the real belt. |
