If Pereira continues to work his grappling, he'll be a serious threat at middleweight.

Run it back in 18 months... I'd buy any card that rematch is on.

That was an awesome fight but damn I hate when guys drop their hands to eat a few like that.
It’s just asking to make the blooper reel. |

We all know Gaethje is the Homer Simpson of mma but Chandler really showed heart. I'm impressed.

I see that it's only the finest steroids and EPO that the communist party can buy for Zhang.

Quoted: Hard to argue against those scores. Usman has proven he has the edge. Props to Covington for his grit. View Quote Agreed. Just seemed like Covington was waaaaay tentative and a step behind compared to the first fight. Sure he landed here and there, but Usman controlled everything until mid-late in the 4th. |

Sure he landed here and there, but Usman controlled everything until mid-late in the 4th. Colby didn't put the foot on the gas until too late. Once he actually stepped up his striking volume, he had a lot more success, but he basically gave away those first two rounds, with the second arguably being a 10 - 8. I'd like to see Colby vs Burns next, and if Edwards beats Masvidal, I think he's next in line for a shot at Usman. Other than that, who is really there for Usman to fight? I guess Chimaev if he gets a couple more wins, but Usman has pretty much cleaned out the division. |

What’s with the recent trend of DC trying to get guys to call people out in their post fight interview? It seems so forced.

Beast card. Usually don't catch all the prelims but will for sure watch these.

I'm rooting hard for Poirier, but I've got a bad feeling that Charles submits him. Charles has great reactive takedowns, and his BJJ is some of the best in the sport. When you combine that with the fact that Poirier's takedown defense has often consisted of just pulling guard into guillotines (I've heard rumors that he has bad hips, which is why he does that instead of sprawling), it makes me nervous.
I'm also curious how Cody Garbrandt does at 125. I've read that he was a small 135er, so he might do better at 125. However, I still think his lack of boxing defense is going to cause him lots of issues. |

I think there is good possibility of a new woman's bantamweight champion if the fight goes to the ground...
