Live with a QC for just one season and you will fucking hate 9" axles. And there is not one good reason for any of these sanctioning bodies to not allow the QC on any class of car that currently is allowed a 9". It's modular so repairs are easier (can just change a tube or bell in 30 minutes if you're fucking off and not rushing it) and gear sets are a fraction of the price. *sigh* Off my soapbox now. Sorry... View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Sorry... You not kidding about the QC, I ran a QC on a dirt Late model for 3 years. Now I'm racing a superstock for someone and just put those heavy ass gears in the rear end tonight . Our first race is April 17th. Subscribing to see how you do OP. Let me know if you have any problems with the oil pan my company makes them. |

There's no dipstick If you're worried on top of the pass side kickout there is a plug take it out the oil should be up to the top of the welded on nut after the motor has been ran. ETA don't run the motor with the plug out We do offer a offer a dipstick kit but I've never used one on my race cars. Fill it to said quarts check it once, race 6 times change oil. Set up tip. For better forward traction make sure your read end is straight not bent. On the 9" 1/8" or less. Up and down, forward and back. |

Is your car all ready to go?
After tonight we just need to nut and bolt, scale, and clean the trailer. Almost forgot the fucking tires! Man I hate the tire work more then changing gears! |

Seen it mentioned a lot What we ran in 604 NASCAR LMSC engines. Has a high zinc content compared to super expensive Mobil 1 racing oil or Joe Gibbs oil and its wayyyy cheaper. Got a nice greenish tint to it too so you'll know if you have a leak! |

Practice is still on
We'll see if my little video camera will record worth a dam. I'll get some pics at the track then try to get whatever video up later tonight |

I wanted to add to a previous post:
I'm doing this for a couple of reasons. Reason one, I got into racing 30 years a go so it's kind of an anniversary thing. I can't say I've been racing that long though. Reason two, my mom was my biggest fan so it's kind of a "memorial" to her. She would always be in the stands cheering for me and even getting her right arm bent like she was helping me through the corners. So, that's why I decided to toss away perfectly good money. I'm going to have fun though |
