POW medal wasn't created until 1985. Likely the script writers weren't aware.

The medal was signed into law on 8 Nov 85.

That episode (Blood and Honor) was first aired on 5 Dec 85.   Even without the S-1 shop's usual time lag in getting anyone else's awards entered, the medal didn't even exist while they were shooting the episode.

Current remake also doesn’t wear one although I’m not invested in it so no real care

New Magnum is a myth.

Like a second Highlander movie.

Like a third Alien movie.

Like a third Predator movie.

Like odd numbered Star Trek movies.

Like Star Wars movies made after 1983.

Like Ghostbusters with an all SJW Female cast.

I think I saw that episode two days ago.
The guy on the right is Paul Burke, who was in 'The Thomas Crown Affair'.
He looked tall next to Faye Dunaway, but like a midget next to Tom Selleck.

Watched "Death and Taxes" last night

The one with the ripper serial killer .

Don't remember this episode at all

Kinda odd the cinematography and sound track really felt/looked like something Micheal Mann would have done .

Wonder if they were trying to compete with Miami Vice at that point in 86'

So... was a .45 slide used, since it has the breechface and extractor location needed for a .308's rim? Or did they rebate the .308's rim to mate up with a 9mm breechface and extractor?

Never heard about the blanks made from .308 cases, I always thought it was just a 9MM version. I know in the Limbo episode he pulls the mag to see how much ammo he has left and there are 9MM rounds in it(theatrical dummies of course, but 9MM).

If they used .308 cases to make blanks I have no idea. I just thought the gun was a basic Colt 1911 in 9mm.
