You're pretty good at teasing cock for dinner.

For my food log today, I've had 8 beers - seriously, keeping in the spirit of the thread, the only calories I've ingested today come from Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde.

I've got a stocked pantry though (and a decent buzz), so I might come up with something kinda sorta cool for actual food. Gimme a few minutes.

How so and in what way? If your BMI is like 3% maybe, but I venture to guess there are no 3% (BMI) here on ARFCOM.

Because it it not for strength and lifting, although I personally know several people who have been on Keto for quite awhile (longer than its been the fad) that would make you walk away in shame at the squat rack etc.

You understand that Keto is not NO carbs right?

I realize that the recommended min by some national dietary committee is 130grams/day but most america adult average 200-300grams/day with most not being the right kind coupled with low dietary fiber intake.

Over a couple of years ago I lost 90 lbs.  I did it by cutting back on calories and mostly carbs.

For over a year I have kept it off.

My typical breakfast consist of berries and or fruit and low fat cottage cheese.  Every once in awhile I will have eggs with some bacon or sausage.

My typical lunch consist of a handful of nuts and some fruit.

About three or maybe four times a week a salad for supper.  The rest of the time something more substantial but in moderation.

Every once in awhile I will splurge and have a higher calorie meal.

Very little bread, pasta or sweets.   The exception being sometimes a small square of dark chocolate.    If I do have bread or pasta it is whole wheat.

Not hungry and I don't crave anything.

I can keep this up indefinitely.

Sure. I don’t argue that. This sidebar convo started when I said it wasn’t for me.

Correct. Keep up with the convo.

And, no, I won’t walk away in shame. I’m not all that strong so it’s not exactly an amazing feat to lift more than me. And I don’t even know what shame feels like.

I went vegan and eliminated carbs 3 months ago.  I am never hungry because I eat tons of fruit and veggies whenever I have an urge.  I also became super compulsive in jogging 5 miles per day.  I am down 72 pounds, 6’4” 201#’s......down from 273.

I think it is a damn easy way of life and I feel great.

Try eliminating all those carbs.

I also find it very useful to weigh myself every morning.  It will give you a damn good understanding of what your diet and exercise does to you everyday.  When you weigh in every week, it is harder to diagnose what is affecting your weight.

1 oz of polenta is roughly 8.13grams of carbs so that was 48.78-65.04 grams of carbs just for the polenta (not including the sauce).

How did they maintain their hygiene? How did they construct buildings? How did they treat diseases?

Since 99.9% of the healthy population hasn't cut carbs out to lose weight, and instead just eat normal portions, do you believe these people to be lucky or something?

Not everyone needs to join a cult to lose weight. The fad will pass, just like it has twice before.

I have all the same sources as your garbage stats.

Your diet is literally only in existence in niche pages on the internet. Most people don't join cults to lose weight.

Portion control and exercise. It's not magic. All the non-fatties out there, do you believe they're all in your cult? Or is it more likely they're just not abusive eaters and move around throughout the day?
