Quoted: That pizza looks way more edible than anything I've seen from that state. I may be goin there next spring so I'll have to see if all the food is that terrible. Maybe I can do a thread on the food there from a non Ohioan perspective. Quoted: I can't argue that. But it didn't involve a crock pot or casserole dish so it's moving up the works. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: A round pizza cut into squares is suspect. Fair point. |

ALMOST posted up the pizza we got from Pizza Crossing in Logan yesterday, but I really didn't feel like agreeing with it in my Anniversary and I had better shit to do. But if you'll be near Hocking Hills, Pizza Crossing has a well-deserved reputation. |

Quoted: I grew up with "Chili Mac". Basically chili on elbow macaroni. Is it an Ohio thing? View Quote Sort of but an entire Midwest thing. I grew up in Cali with good Mexican food and then spent close to 10 years in Texas. Midwest food is bland and they hate any type of spice. Have gone to multiple get togethers or whatever and they just do not like flavor in food. My MIL in one of these get togethers made 'chicken' and it was just a pack of chicken breasts put in a crock pot with two cans of cream of chicken People up here would rather eat that then good TX BBQ or actual chili or actual good Tex-Mex type food. They just love the blandest shit imaginable. |
