One that immediately jumps out to me is Mission Impossible 2. It opened with a pointless car chase that had Tom Cruise in a car chase with a love interest, and they were bashing supercars pointlessly. There was over the top action sequences with a lot of stupid stuff, basically if the characters were flatter than NES sprites, and since it was a John Woo movie there were slow motion dove shots that were filmed in an industrial basement.

You are right about MI 2. That one stuck out like a sore thumb.
As far as worst of the franchise, I think we just saw one with The Predator. |
|
Jaws 2 kinda sucked. Jaws 3D sucked hard, but at least it had the hilarity of 3D effects.
Then there’s this turd How BAD is Jaws: The Revenge? |

Bad Boys For Life
Live Free Or Die Hard Tremors: A Cold Day In Hell |

I almost forgot about Die Hard. How far that franchise has fallen!

Every Lethal Weapon after the second one.
Every Alien after the second one. Every Die Hard after the original one. Every Predator after the original one. Every Terminator after the second one. |

I don't know, but it's not Sharknado 2: The Second One, or Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla.

Halloween 3 The Season Of the Witch
Anything after the first Howling |

The Force Awakens
The Last Jedi Rise of Skywalker Seriously, no one was going to post these shit movies? |

Every Star Wars after the first Star Wars now titled Episode IV.
I've said it. Now I'm free. Star Wars is dead. |
|
Every Star Trek after 4.
V could have been good but it needed one last rewrite. VI was "The Federation was wrong to fight the Klingons to ensure freedom." The Next Gen films were just Picard is an action hero with CHI space battles and no real.story beyond the tired old Revenge trope. |
|

After watching them all, when Rambo went rioting in Teasel Town with an M60 they could've saved the film for something else.

Anything after the first John Wick.
Holy shit, what a pile of garbage 2 and 3 are. The first was a novel concept and executed very well. The two sequels take that concept and just make it a farce, with half the people on the planet apparently involved in the trade. Hey, opinions vary, but if you like either one, you are wrong. That's just a fact. Proven by science. Same thing applies to the Matrix franchise. |

I'm actually surprised at the number of people who love ESB. When it first came out there was a huge backlash over Darth Vader being Luke's father and the fact that the movie didn't have much of an ending. I was so disgusted with it I didn't even see ROTJ until it went to the dollar theater. |

Star Trek 5. It was even worse than any of the reboot nonsense.
|

Quantum of Solace is fucking awful. Moonraker is ten times better, and Moonraker is terrible.

Edit: and Star Trek 4 was not nearly as good as everyone acts like it is. |

Comedy - Caddyshack 2
They should be ashamed of themselves. Oscar winner - The English Patient Zzzzzzzzzzz Horror - Revenge of the Creature 3D They should have let the Creature die in the first one. 50's B-movie - The Giant Claw Decent, except for the battleship-sized rubber flying turkey vulture looking thing Overall - Plan 9 From Outer Space They told me it was really, really bad. It was far, far worse than that. Honorable Mention - Night of the Lepus Giant rabbits run rampant? Really? |

Exorcist 2 was other level awful.
Two scenes stand out: a teenaged demon possessed Linda Blair seducing Richard Burton, and James Earl Jones dressed up as a six foot locust. It's so bad it couldn't even form a cult following. |

Quoted: Worse than Live and Let Die? No way. It's not the best Bond flick but it is not Live and Let Die bad. It's not the best Bond flick but it is not Live and Let Die bad. Live and Let Die is way better than QoS, because it wasn't boring. QoS is boring a stupid, with "stakes" that nobody cares about, no real point, no character development and no fun action. LaLD is cheesy and terrible, but it has a point, stakes that you can care about, and some characters you might also care about - plus some fun action. |

Quoted: Agree, but I have to say the Director’s cut of Alien 3 was waaaaaay better than the theatrical. View Quote This is true. I remember HATING it the first time I saw it, but when I saw the director's cut many years later, I thought it was okay. Not great, but okay. On the other hand, I actually LIKE Alien Resurrection. As long as you view it as a very different type of movie from Alien/Aliens, it's pretty fun and enjoyable. |

That said; I think I’m the only one here in GD who loved ‘Skyfall’. James Bond’s walking away from the life, Ralph Fiennes’s character introduction, the end of Mrs. M. I even loved Javier Bardem’s over the top villain. Plus, Naomie Harris & Berenice Mahrole scratch several eye-candy spots for me quite nicely. |

The Chronicles of Riddick and Riddick both sucked fat donkey cock compared to Pitch Black

I still haven’t watched Spectre, nor do I plan to. It sounds like they wanted to make a Cold War-era Sean Connery Bond film 50 years after the fact. |
