Fevers, tons of mucus, sore throat, barking cough, aching sinuses, etc. Adults usually have an easier time of it than kids, and it can be fatal in babies and the elderly/immunocompromised. Had a wonderful 2AM drive to the nearest hospital (2 hours away) with #3 with the croup. Thought it was RSV. When the Dr. said we are testing for it, I politely went and threw up outside. I understand why. I’ve seen a lot of babies in the ER with RSV, struggling to even get air. It’s a nightmare. I’m just glad we’re all old enough to handle it fairly well. It nearly killed my nephew. |

I may still try to pattern this SXP tomorrow with the chokes it came with.
I'd like to eventually get a shorter barrel for other reasons, but the 28 will more than work for now. |

While that is true, there is also the very limited capacity, lots of recoil, hard to reload, etc, etc IMO, a properly set up shotgun can be very useful. But they have an extremely limited role, and the cost to get one set up properly is more than I care to put into one when my AR carbine will do the job. I'm also of the opinion that the best shotgun reload is another gun, because fuck all that. |

The fact major pistol manufacturers are still making pistols without a rail to mount a light amazes me.

View Quote There are people who don't believe they'll ever be out in the dark, or in a dark building, and prefer the no-rail aesthetic. And for what are basically competition only/range toys/collectors pieces I can see the reason. But I still firmly believe that defensive firearms should all have lights. Just like rifles and shotguns should have slings and handguns should have holsters. |

Those speed sticks Ive seen at open 3gun competitions are pretty freaking amazing.
