The democrats very clearly stated that they would seek impeachment as early as 5 mins after the results of the election were available. They're just looking for any excuse to go through with it. Trump could put the toilet paper under instead of over and they'd appoint a special prosecutor over it.

The guy specifically states he did not hear any of the conversations first hand, but was told by coworkers. Best I can gather, we cut funds from Ukraine. A few days later is when this conversation happened. The Dems are trying to suggest that there was some kind of unspoken quid pro quo where Trump implies by his "favor" request that he would return the funds if the favor is completed. The main problem is he doesn't say that, the Ukraine president didn't take it that way, and there is no evidence whatsoever that it's true. We also have the facts of the telephone conversation versus secondhand (or third hand) witness testimony, which is by someone who the white house determined has a "significant political bias" against the president. Almost like we've been here before... many times before. |

Tomorrow the dems go out on a two-week recess and I have a feeling they are not going to like what they discover in their home districts, particularly those dems in swing districts that Trump won in 2016. Not only have the dems set themselves up to be skinned in the race for the WH but there's a better than even chance they will lose the House to boot.....Good times ahead.
