My go-to just went through some weight loss surgery, replacing the Larue Stealth upper and 11" railed hand guard with a VSeven M4 upper and 11" enlightened MLOK hand guard. She's now 8 lb 1 oz unloaded, but I'll be adding a modlite soon so the weight will be closer to 9.

Just under 10 lbs as is. That includes the rifle + the light, a full mag, Vortex Strikefire II red dot sight, and back-up sights. If I add the sling, I guess it'd add just under another pound. Not bad, could be better. I'd like to build an AR pistol with a reflex sight, a light, and a can, for home defense.
