Quoted: My ignore list is quite extensive, with most of the reasons being "Ignorant motherfucker" or "Dipshit libtard". I just don't have the patience to put up with stupidity any longer. I'd make a horrible police officer... View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: I dunno man, there's one in particular from South Carolina who really makes me wonder. We should blame Mitch for him since they're both from SC. Is he an underscore thats screen name is an area. If so, he was first on my ignore list. I have yet to put anyone on ignore....but I like the notes features. FL seems to be the worst. Quoted: My mom is 78. Her dad was Army in WW2. Dad was a Vietnam vet. Im way better off having known them. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: There's a country music song playing on the radio right now by Thomas Rhett called Mamaw's House, and one of the lines in the song says "She'd ask if I was hungry every thirty seconds". I swear, the first time I heard it, I wondered how he actually knew my grandmother! My grandmother did it and damn if my mom doesn't do it too. Mom is 79 years old now, still works in the daycare at their church, and damn if every single morning I don't get a text from her asking "Is there anything I can do for you today?" I doubt there will ever be another generation like those folks. My mom is 78. Her dad was Army in WW2. Dad was a Vietnam vet. Im way better off having known them. My Dad's father was a WWII Marine who pretty well raised himself from the age of 12 when his mother lost her mind during the birth of the youngest child. Mom's dad was a school teacher and a home builder who hitchhiked over 150 miles to where he attended college. The two men couldn't have been any more different, yet both of them were fantastic role models and had SO much wisdom to pass along, if only I'd been smart enough to take it all in. |

Quoted: You would have probably hazed the fuck outta me. View Quote I'm 100% anti hazing. Probably would have been picked on the most. Part of the reason I didn't go is that I don't do well with assholes. I'm good until someone is an asshole to me for no reason. Then I become the biggest asshole in the room. That would have ended very badly for me in the military. Works well for me in my job though and is why I'm the boss in my office. |

Quoted: I almost went there...would have started fall of 98 if I had kept that path. View Quote I graduated spring of 98 as well. My nephew came up to me earlier, said he just heard this really cool old song. He commenced to playing Rooster by Alice in Chains. I just walked out and poured 3 fingers of Russells. |
