My family raises goats, and they have Great Pyrenees to gaurd them. We also had them at pets when I was growning up, and them are OUTSTANDING dogs.

When I move back to west Tx in the next few years, my plans are to put goats on my property, and Great Pyr's to watch over them.

In Texas I would say a Blue Lacy.......they are the state dog.
