Inside my house, where I know the distance and angles? Semi auto shotgun full of slugs

Inside someone else’s building? AR pistol or rifle in either 9, 223, or 300.

I'm a big fan of limited penetration so anything that can reduce a structure, w/o me in it, is a big +.

My 11.5" AR pistol and then my G19.

More than likely it would be my G19 since I will probably carrying it.

The 11.5" AR will have big advantage in ballistics and capacity but the G19 would be quieter and easier to maneuver in tighter spaces.

That's a good mix.

OP, CQC doesn't preclude the need to fight to, around and from the objective and objective area. I'm sure you're aware of that but still., something to keep in mind when deciding on what weapons and equipment to use.

There was a time when I carried a MP5 as a primary. The the threat has evolved and that time has passed

This type of training is becoming more of a thing now. I’m seeing more and more CQC / CQB weapons training, now with shoot or “kill” houses. I’ve done some small shoot houses with a pistol and frangible ammo and force on force with simunition.

If you could pick anything, what’s your CQB primary weapon of choice?

Is the AR pistol/SBR still king here or would you go with something else?

Most important factors to me would be reliability and low recoil for effective follow up shots.

Ok, you have me at a loss.

Are you talking about home defense or getting it on, in and around structures?  Because they are two different things.

PS90 hands down,  comfortable, naturally pointing, follow up shots are super easy to put in on top of each other, 50 round magazine, and after thousands and thousands of rounds not a single stoppage.   It's only issue is it just looks wonky.

I just have the standard optic with black reticle, it's quick and works fine for close range to moderate distance.

If I could choose, it’s a M1A2 with canister.

Yell out over a loudspeaker to come out.

Warn twice.

Then open fire till the structure falls.

The reason we don’t win wars anymore is because we worry too much about collateral damage.
