I also came to post the P7.

I think Glock's biggest selling point these days is price and just how damn easy they are to work on. I own Glocks for this simple reason, even though I don't care for them. Actually I built a Lone Wolf Timberwolf, I don't prefer the Glock grip angle.

I Definitely shoot my VP9 and P320 better. If I had to take just one 9mm out of my stable it'd be my P320X5, but the Glock would be a close second for parts/mags. I think the P320 will be catching up to Glock soon; not just because of military adoption, but because of the trigger group being the serialized part and so easy to swap.

I still shoot/train with all of them. Variety is the spice of life.

I had a VP9, MP and Glocks.  I always come back to Glock.  My do all house gun is a G19 5th Gen mos with night sights.  I grab it first because it’s easy to shoot with a decent trigger.  But I put night sights on it to be my bed side gun.  It works and I trust it to work.

CZP10C.  Better ergonomics.  Better trigger pull and especially better trigger reset.  Grip size is perfect for my hands.

I sold my glocks after I bought my CZ.

I also really wanted to like the Sig 365.  It's just too much of a compromise, sold it too.

THIS. As far as striker fired, much prefer the CZP10C, and I’ve been shooting Glocks since the early 1990’s. I now only own one, a G48. As far as hammer fired, hands down the P-07.

I’ve tried:

Glock
Canik
CZ
S&W

I have a shield plus and I like it better than the G19 but I’ve carried the G19 the longest. If I were starting over right now, I’d go M&P, especially with their new flat trigger. My shield plus shoots excellent.

I Had a CZ P10S. I hated it and I’m a CZ fan. The ergos were just wrong for my hand.

The canik shot really well, ergos were fine but I couldn’t find spare mags for it at the time and the slide is a chonky boy. It felt like half Glock, half Hi point to me. It was a really good pistol though.

The PPQ has probably the best trigger of any plastic gun.

Glock is the granddaddy and has a well earned reputation. That's why they're still on top. But for the discerning plastic gun buyer, there are other options just as good. In fact, you have to be a really shitty company to mess up a polymer, striker fired gun these days.

Got 4 AR’s, couple RPRs, a few shotguns, and I’d have to count but probably 8-9 handguns.  Even got a can in jail.  Certainly less than many here, but I feel like my collection is also more than the average gun owner nationwide.  Full reloading setup in the basement.  I think I qualify as a firearms enthusiast and if you used your brain and the search function, you’d see a myriad of pro-2A posts here from me.  The thing is, I’m not a paranoid…. That doesn’t make me a shareblue.

What do you want to see?  I’ll post a pic of it whatever gun(s) you desire with a post-it note with your own username on it.  Or, you can simply get a shot of my whole safe.  Up to you, just let me know.

If I can show you what I’ve got, you can venmo me $100.  Put your money where your trap is, if you have the sack.

Own an assortment; Smith, Sig, Glock.  Not sure one is dramatically better than the others.  Ford vs Chevy at this point.

See? You actually are trolling, definitely an enthusiast indeed.

And nobody gives a care what you think or what you own, the other guy wasn't the only one to notice that pattern about the OP and I had actually posted this in support of. Yet you chose to run your trap just at him while also being a white knight.

If you actually had a brain and searched the cold links provided, a person with an above room temperature IQ would have easily seen what was being shown.

Again, nobody cares what you think or whatever you thought paranoia was. There was never any paranoia. There was an astute observation made to which you jumped too quick in conclusion of.

And for the record, I never asked to see anything. Show me where I said to show us what you own, go ahead I'll give you some time to finish your ice cream before it melts. Prove your integrity instead of running your own trap, that is if you actually have the nuts to do so.

GTFOOHWYBS, you don't get to make any terms or bets stacked in your favor to anyone based on things that never happened.

of course, people can tell alot about a poster, based on the history of the contents of the poster

for instance, you tend to be anti Trump, and anti right  or conservative

also, you appear to be sensitive and react quickly, with immature responses...

and people datamining other people on arfcom is a concern

Polymer 80 much better than glock.

When the M&Ps were first introduced, I bought one and went to the range vs Glock.    I have never kept another Glock, while I keep a double-handful of M&Ps

Can't wait to take the M&P 10mm to the range.    Got rid of G20 and G20SF years ago.

I just picked up the optics ready M&P compact 2.0 and love the feel of it in my hand.  Much better than my Glocks (Gen 4 G22 and Gen 5 G17). The trigger was/is awful on the M&P though.  It’s gotten a lot better but it felt like sandpaper at first.  It’s smoothed quite a bit from pulling the trigger hundreds of times, but still not what I would say is good. On my one range trip with it I was also shooting it very low. Maybe I’m pulling but I have to line the front sight well above the rear sight. On my G17 and 43x MOS I sighted my red dot by indexing just above the front sight. No problem getting them sighted in. On the M&P, I think I’m going to have to sight it at or just below the front sight dot. Hope to get a chance to take it out again soon to work on it a little more.

*I’m taking snap caps next trip out to see if I am pulling or not. Dry firing has been steady.

Sometimes it feels like I change pistols more than most people change shoes. I always come back to the VP9, some kind of 1911/2011 and Glock. The 19 is hard to beat for a gun that just carries well, I just don’t like the grip, or trigger on them (19 is a little to short, 17 doesn’t carry nearly as well). I loved the P320/M18, except it didn’t like hard or slightly deeper primers that my other guns would shoot just fine, the trigger was outstanding.

The Glock will probably do better than the VP9 in a mud test. But short of that I think the VP9 is a better all around gun, better ergos, better trigger. In reality, it doesn’t make much difference inside 20 yards at speed, if you practice with one or the other.

Keep your Glocks or get a Staccato. I doubt you find much difference in anything priced between the two with a striker. At least not enough of a difference that you cannot train around it. Unless you find something you just like better, for whatever reason.

I like the ergonomics and the grip of the Walther PDP and the S&W M&P 2.0 better than the Glock.  The PDP also has a better trigger.  Needs aftermarket sights though.

And if you are looking for something a little different than a Glock, consider a PSA Dagger. I have one, haven't shot it yet unfortunately.

$300 for a made in America Glock clone. There seems to have been a few teething pains with it early, but PSA seems to have gotten them ironed out.
