420rd cans of M855 for $125 IIRC. Then it went even lower and I got one for $84 I think.
80 boxes of 2 3/4" OO Buckshot with 25 shells per box for $2.00 per box.
Got a few many years ago but haven't looked at it recently.
Got one of the $250 or $300 Marlin 45-70s, got the cheap Mossberg, the Ruger American, Savage BMag, and lots of ammo. |

Got more when it dropped to $1 Got some 8" round steel targets for $7 each too |

M855 ammo cans for about $90.
Unfortunately I just missed out on the Marlin 45-70 deal. |

12 Ga #7.5 and #8 for $2 a box, filled up a cart and limped that sucker to a lady running checkout #2. Lady asked me what I was going to do with all that ammo, I told her rabbit season opened tomorrow and I was bad shot.
Savage rifles, Weatherby rifles, Muzzle loaders, Coolers, Drones, Binos, Knives, TV's, Chromebooks, Snapper Lawnmowers and much more I can't think of right now. |
Savage .22 Magnum for $75 when my local store got rid of their guns.
Way back when I got several (10+) Remington 700 ADL Synthetics for $199 each, and then several boxes of the UMC .300 Black Out (Barnes brass) for real cheap before I even had a .300 Blackout.
Now my proudest accomplishment is knowing I've not been inside a WallyWorld since pre-Covid. Aint missed a meal or run out of ammo yet. |
$250 Marlin .45-70, $99 Savage A17, $50 Leupold rangefinder, $169 10/22 Takedown, $89 Remington 700 .270, thousands of rounds of dirt cheap ammo, $35 scopes and binoculars, and so much more...
Henry 45-70 for $389.
Or 11-87 for $125. Or 10 cans of m855 for $650 |
$49 Savage Axis, one in .308 and one in .243.
Several $25 Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x40 scopes. $60 Savage 64F .22LR, snagged a couple for the kids. Lots of ammo…mostly Federal and UMC .44 mag, ZQI .308 and Federal Flite Control 00 Buck. Good times ETA: I forgot about the pile of 3-9x40 and 4-12x50 Leopold Rifleman scopes for $50 each. I must have have bought a dozen of them, kept 3 or 4 to update some older hunting rifle glass and sold the rest for a chunk of change. |
200rds of Tulammo .223 for $10, a marlin 45/70 for $300, ruger 10/22 takedown for $169, and a ruger American 30-06 for $129.
Tons of dirt cheap Nikon and Bushnell scopes. Also several cheap bolt action Savage rifles.
Edit: forgot about the ammo. Lots of cheap 9mm and 45acp. Unfortunately not too much in the 5.56mm dept. |
I bought two Ruger Americans in .243 fur about $170/ea and later sold one for $280, which means I paid $60 for the rifle I kept.
When’s the last time they had good gun/ammo deals anyway? Seems like it was all pre-Covid.
Probably a dozen 420 cases of m855. The cheapest came to 6 cents per round
Rem 700 in 223 for $149 Rem 1187 in 20ga for $124 Savage Axis in 308 for $49 |
Marlin 1895 for $200, bought two and sold one to a friend at cost. He let me keep the rebate for making the drive to pick it up.
ETA: Remembering a few more. GoPro Hero 4 $50 Samsung Curved 24" monitor $32 Klipsch The One speaker $15, it's awesome btw. |
I still have a couple of new in box Savage axis rifle/scope combos that were less than $100 after rebate that are still in boxes, a Marlin 45/70 for lass than $300, a mini14 that was similar, a $100ish Remington 1170, cases of Winchester steel duck and goose loads for free after rebates, 3 420 rd cans of green tip for $93 each, a few leoupold scopes, 2 Nikon Monarch scopes @$65, a $65ish leupold range finder, some cheap Nikon Monarch binos, lots of various ammo for pennies per round. That's just what i kept, I probably paid for more than half of it with the $ I made flipping stuff. I miss the good ole days.

Not a single post about a pressure washer?! GD disappoints.
Best deal? Probably Savage rifles for $74 and under. Also the Mossberg shotguns. They turned me into a Mossberg fan from being a 870 guy.
The deal I wish I found? One of the 45-70’s. Always wanted a 45-70 but not enough to pay full price for one. |
Quoted: I got thirteen cases of that Suprema when they dumped it, good times. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: 80 boxes of 2 3/4" OO Buckshot with 25 shells per box for $2.00 per box. Yes, that Suprema is good stuff. |
The $49 savage axis rifles were the best deal. They were $49 with a $50 mail in rebate. I ended up with at least one in every caliber for free.
Also a couple Henry Big Boys is .44 and .357 for $129 each, a couple of 1187 Remingtons in 12 & 20 ga for $79 each, $149 Goodyears for $10, too much smaller stuff to count. |
Ruger American in .243 for just over $100.00
Nikon Monarch Rifle scope for like $70.00 Nikon Monarch Binos for like $65.00 |
Winchester White Box .40 for 5.99 a box of 50. Been working on that 2k+ stash for a decade... the ammo crisis then then only had .40 left and it was dirt cheap. I bought all the rest they had... (before they implemented a box limit)
My pit boss was dirt cheap a couple years ago marked from 699.99 to 259.99. This year the lowest it has been is 489. |
Grabbed an 11-87 for $280 or something, and a Stevens 320 for $120.
Not a thing. Never had anything good in stock at my local stores
Who’s got a leupold scope taking up room they wanna part with? Or Nikon
I missed the deal by about 10 min. Think it was priced at $69? |
