I don’t think it really matters which flavor when it comes to impacting soft tissues. The big names pretty much all do well in their own right.

My little lizard brain likes the idea of the +P variants, so they have a little more oomph to cycle a potentially dirty or poorly gripped weapon. Not that I carry a filthy gun or intentionally limp wrist, but out here in the real world, shit happens.

Expands very well.  It also gets excellent velocity out of a Ruger LCR in 9mm.  Almost the same as from a 5" barrel full sized pistol
