Christ tasted death for every man
All can be Saved - Jesus died on the cross to keep us out of Hell Why would you not take Him up on the free gift? |

Quoted: Where does it tell you to do that in the book? View Quote Leviticus 20:9 - For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him. Now this is the part where you tell us that's not what it says. |

Me. I will never be "saved".
I don't know if we go somewhere after we die, and I'm smart enough to admit it without needing a fairy tail, but if we do, we're all going to the same place. |

Posting derogatory comments of a racial, religious, or sexual nature. 6. Attacking or insulting a member in an effort to elicit a negative response. 7. More specifically creating topics and or replies meant to disrupt the Site's day to day management, disrupt member's resources, or the ability of the Site to function normally. This can include but is not limited to posting overly large photos or .gif files, excessive emoticons, or the use of repetitive or overly long text strings. It can also be the posting of threads or replies, in which it appears that the sole purpose is to provoke other members, or to damage the image and/or reputation of the site. Think it over. |

I have heard of 2 groups. Ones that will not accept salvation because they think they are un-savable, and those who do not believe they need salvation. Or put another way, those who do not ask or will not accept.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for paying the price of my sin debt upon that old cross @ Calvary with Your Precious Shed Blood.
Maranatha and Amen …….. |

Im loving the GD responses, keep it up OP. Was never a pre-triber but one can see all the stuff happening. Paster Jack gives the best visual of the pre-Trib vision. Went to Calvary Chapel years ago but then it was just a tent, a slow Wed service was 10,000 peeps, 25,000+ on Sunday. There will come a time when peeps will SCREAM to know God but they will bite their tongues to keep from repenting. Repenting is the key, just like Jonah.

Quoted: Those who believe the bible is God's word and truth also realize they deserve to get smited, and so don't usually enjoy seeing that, even though they know it is 1000% deserved and just. View Quote Brother, he’s a blind man, just as the scriptures describe. He’s incapable of it making any sense to him because his ears and heart are closed. He can’t comprehend that all of scripture describes God more fully than any single verse does. He can understand how a single sentence describing his mom can be accurate yet not accurately describe her completely. But he can’t understand how a verse in the OT can similarly accurately but not completely describe God. He can say three sentences to describe his mother and understand them as complimentary and working in harmony to better describe her. But he can’t understand how multiple verses about God are also complimentary, so he interprets them as inconsistency. He understands intuitively that his mother can be both loving and punishing but thinks God can only be one of them. It’s a heart issue for him, not a head issue. That’s why he can’t comprehend. |

Am seeing things happening now that I would never have thought possible in my lifetime, too. And I reflect on that a lot. I hate to think of the world my grandchildren will live in. Relative to the end times, I've always thought of it in terms of Matthew 24:26, no one knows the day or the hour. Rather, my sense is that what we are seeing is America and the West being under God's judgment. And it is just beginning. I haven't watched the video (yet) however I see the answer to the thread's question as being in Romans 1:28-32. |

God is merciful and gives us belief when we do not deserve to believe the truth. We were once all enemies of his, and the word was preached to us. |

Quoted: So he's dead? View Quote Nicene Creed: I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. |

In all likelihood, God exists, but heaven and hell do not.
So the correct answer is no one gets saved. Or at least not in the manner people have been conditioned to believe. More correctly, they do get saved, but it doesn’t mean what they think it does. |

Given such education as I have had in matters of faith, and in accordance with this thread,
successful suicides are the only ones unable to be forgiven and saved. Being unable to ask, for part of it, and the other for declining the gift of life. I could be wrong, and invite PMs to be directed my way with differing views....NOT flames, tyvm. |

I’m a non-believer myself. However, I’m not so hubris to think that my lack of faith constitutes proof of non-existence of an all-knowing, all-powerful being. Personally, I don’t need a book to tell me the difference between right and wrong.
This just about sums up my thoughts on religion, all religions. Let The Mystery Be - Iris DeMent H.Q. Pro-Tip: If you believe your God commands you to hurt yourself or hurt other people in their name, you’re doing it wrong. |

The Bible says that in Hell there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. My understanding is the weeping are the ones who thought they knew God, they tried to live a good life, they may have gone to church, they were spiritual or religious but yet they were never Born Again.
The ones gnashing their teeth had anger toward God while they lived here on earth. They were mad at God because they perceived him to be cruel and hateful and still they may have denied his very existence. They never cease being angry at him for all of eternity. |
