I traded bandannas I wore like a wrestler rock star for one. They were rad for an up and coming academic.

Oh yea, had a few of them. The best is when they came out with the zipper ones, you could hold a lot stuff in them and not worry about anything falling out.

My mom would never buy them for some reason
I remember teachers always tried to say they weren’t allowed, too big for the desks or something. But half the class always seemed to get one anyway. |
|
Too expensive for us... I had a 3 ring binder with sheets of notebook paper.. I think in high school I had individual, spiral bound notebooks...
|
|
|
I had two, I think they were Ghostbusters and Ninja Turtles themed.
I also had one of those digital organizers that had a calculator in it.I think it was either Sharp or Radio Shack brand. |

Everyone was envious when I got an i95 from my job. My personal one was an i860. Kinda miss being a mod on HoFo and staff on idengods. |

I had several trapper keepers in order to help me take notes and safely store my homework.
Unfortunately, I never actually took notes or did my homework. |

Finished school in 1989. I never had one. Took only a notebook.
|
|
Of course. Had a few different ones over the years. Nothing I carried to and from school was going to last more than a year.

Quoted: My parents cleaned out their attic around Christmas time and gave me a bunch of my old school items. In it was my original Trapper Keeper. I didn't have anything that exciting, just a lake with a butterfly. Just for fun I checked eBay and someone is trying to sell theirs for $60. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/uygAAOSwXw5hTUH8/s-l1600.jpg View Quote I had that one |

If it wasn't for South Park, I wouldn't know a trapper keeper existed.

I went through a few of them along with quite a few backpacks.

|
I never had one. I got the cheapest 3-ring binder out there.
My dad was a cheapskate. |
|
This was the first one I got and the only one I can recall owning. Probably because it's so rad.

I did t have one (class of 88). I thought only the pussies used them. I didn’t care enough about to school to even show up half the time so I damned sure wasn’t going to carry one of those around. Funny story: senior year, getting ready for graduation. Everyone was clearing out their lockers and stuff. This guy comes up to me and says he got his stuff out of the locker so everything else was mine ( we had shared lockers). I didn’t know this dude and I didn’t remember ever using a locker. So he goes and shows me and my buddies. Sure enough, I had three or four textbooks with my name on them and some random papers from the first day of the school year. It seems I just stuffed the shit in there that first day and never returned. No memory of it at all.
