Crypto is one of the most volatile things out there.
There really isn’t any historical data and analysis on it like there is with equities. Plus you have a ton of inexperienced people “investing” in it who panic buy and sell which makes price swings worse. Crypto is speculation not investing. |

It isn't as bad as i expected after reading your post.
My suspicion has been with the rise of Doge. BTC and ETH with a few others have spent the last decade making the case that they are legitimate stores of value. Regardless of your opinion, that has been their goal. Doge was an intentional shitcoin, a meme designed to parody BTC. When it took off as it did, I feel it undermined a lot of the work that had been done. People have still gotten far more wealthy than they ever may have, though. It re-raised stigmas. |

Crypto has always been very volatile. Unless you're a speculating day trader don't worry.

Crypto is included in the debt bubble we are experiencing. It closely follows or leads the stock market, because it's mainly and alternate investing tool. It has yet to be used as a widespread currency alternative.
I suspect we are in a liquidity trap, and one of the features of a liquidity trap is people desperate for interest on the savings invest in weird ways. |

Widely expected market correction. I thought the bull run was supposed to last through Q3 of thus year, but it may be here early.
ALL crypto and most stock markets are red, I expect this will continue for a couple of days and BTC will "crash" to 20k-22k range, this is what you would call a buying opportunity when it hits bottom ETH will most likely end up around 1200-1400, at least in my opinion I'll see how my "predictions" fare |
