If I find a Marlin, it won't wear a silencer, or a scope and it won't have long ass weaver type base on it.

It's gonna look like my 30-30, minus the scope, not sure if they are made in SS like mine, if not blue and wood is fine.Attachment Attached File

While I haven't read much the few I have all put them significantly bigger even bigger than the polar bears. Think I first heard about it on podcast but can't remember which one probably Rogan or Meat Eater. Guy floated the idea that they were so bad ass they basically kept humans from coming into North America. Either way they sounded like awesome predators.

Hey guys.  I am thinking about buying a Uberti 1885 Highwall in .45-70.  My question is this... how hard would it be for a gunsmith to thread the octagonal barrel for a suppressor?
Depending on diameter it can be done but you'd probably pay extra for it being octagon. They'd have to turn the end until round then thread-extra steps=extra money. IMO a threaded octagon barrel wouldn't look right. If threading I'd get a round barrel model.
This.

Long barrel Quigley off a bench or stick seems like the best option, but I’d like to try it before buying one
