View Quote Been preaching this from the beginning. The fact that doge is not capped, that it is inflationary is not a flaw. This makes the most sense as a now a days currency. It will remain attainable to the average person forever. The fact that it is a meme, easily liked and marketable is why it will succeed. |

I finally caved and moved money into another checking account and just linked it so I guess I'm 2 weeks out. I've never done this before so I might need help here. I only have $150 to start out for now. Maybe more next week.

Dammit I missed that dip to 0.51 an hour ago. Now it's back up to 0.60.

You guys know this is ultimately going to crash and burn, it's only a matter of when. Bitcoin is probably the real deal to some extent, but eventually people will get bored with the 'doge memes' and all the early holders will pull the rug out.

You don't and neither do I. What I do know is I said the same thing about Bitcoin back when it was only a fraction of what it is now. Oops. And another thing I know is Bitcoin never had the publicity and support that Dogecoin has when it was still at a reasonable price point. With all the name recognition and hype Dogecoin has already, it isn't going anywhere and it isn't going to "crash" any time soon. It might not ever get to $1,000 or even $100, but I do think we'll look back one day and kick ourselves for not buying a bunch more when it was only 60 cents. |

I’m going to put a nice rifle up for sale soon. Market value is about $3k.
Gonna post it for like $2800. Only accepted payment method is going to be dogecoin |

Dogecoin is also pointless and too hard to buy or use, it's not even available on coinbase. |

I posted on Facebook about it a few days ago. Since then, about 25% of my friends list have told me they opened RH accounts to buy some and wanted advice.
That should tell you everything you need to know. I've only been in it for six weeks. Twitter, and the tardy-internet-verse are hearing about it. Which means more money in it. This weekend will either be a huge dump, or a huge pump. I guess watch SNL and then watch Robinhood crash. Cause we all know that's going to happen at the "worst" moment. |

How does Uncle Sam get his cut if you use Dogecoin to buy something? Say you purchased Doge at .10 and it rises to .60 and then you get tickets to a Mavs game for 150 coins...

If it's converted to USD after the vendor has possession of the coins, I don't know. |

The drops this week have not been too brutal. It seems to like to be around .60 or so. One dollar is really not crazy sounding at all now. I’m curious though if it can break a dollar and keep going long term or if it stays around the dollar mark and becomes the crypto equivalent of the US dollar for people to use as currency if they wanted to. Bitcoin is so valuable that it is not going to be for the majority of people. It’s almost like a ultra wealthy vs poor currency right now. And I don’t ever see dogecoin following bitcoins climb to 60,000 at all. But time will tell I guess

The problem with Doge as a currency replacement is that it can’t support a high number of transactions per minute. To do so there would need to be significant revisions to the code and there’s no significant work going on for that. |

THese sorts of things usually end up having the opposite effect. Be prepared to buy. It’s a wild card for sure. In the past any sort of organized effort to pump the value made it go down. But whenever Musk would post random doge references on Twitter the value would go up. So it’s hard to really say what SNL could do. I’m just gonna hang on for the ride. |

So….. musk on snl one day from now
Buy the rumor sell the news? Or goes to moon Sunday? Are you selling before snl or buying? |
