Only past car worth getting back new would be an '81 Bronco. If I could sell my current car and get it back brand new... '97 Viper in a heartbeat.

Except my car didn't have the Mach 1 package.

Same color as pictured but with a camel interior rather than black.

It did have a 351C with automatic and a/c and dual sport mirrors.  Weird combo of options but l loved that car. Drove it from 1980 til 1997.

That is a no brainer ..  I'll take my Porsche 912  back  in heartbeat , biggest mistake I ever made was selling that car.  ,  it was not the fastest car but it was just plain fun to drive .  Poor man's 911 but it made smile every time.

They are not so cheap these day, not unobtainable but the prices on them keep going up.

Sort of a toss up between my 2001 E39 M5 and my 1999.5 996.1 911.

Id give the edge to the BMW if I had to have it bone stock.

I think this is the only photo with both cars.

The fit and finish of the interior was much better than the Porsche.

But, the 911 is a cooler car because it's super low, tuned, no mufflers and I thrashed the shit out of it till it blew up.

The Volvo 850 Turbo R I had in college is a strong third.
I'm still hunting for one. Should have never sold that car.

Can't really decide.
Either my 1963 Ford Falcon.

Or my 1967 Ford LTD.

Note that neither of these are pictures of my actual cars but just representative.
I've had some fox mustangs but these two are a little more special in my memory.

So easy; the 1980 Porsche 911SC Targa that I drove in high school. It was my dad'd former mid-life crisis car and was a few years older than me. It had sweet 80s BBS wheels on it but I could deal with the stock Fuchs wheels. Head studs failed on me and couldn't afford an engine rebuild I did get some pics from the new owner after he did quite a bit of work on it.

My 1969 Firebird.  factory 350, AT, AC, PS, and Power Drums.  I'm not even sure of the original color, the brakes were probably the only stock thing left on it when I had it.  When I got it it had a 400, no radio, heater duct running from the heater box to the defrost, and a bad case of ass cancer.  Should have kept it.

Its a tie between a Fiat X1/9 and Mercedes 250 C, probably the Mercedes, cause while I do hate myself, not quite that much.....

ETA, definitely the Mercedes, there was a 76 X1/9 for sale a few days ago locally that I looked at, I was excited till I remembered I am old and fat, and would have to roll out of the drivers seat and crawl out on my hands and knees.....  Damn thing was fire engine red even.
