I think it was the Swiss anti material stay behind rifle. A bolt action ,41 magnum firing steel core dangerous game bullets and had a giant suppressor.

Savage 219/220 single shot rifle/shotguns with switchable barrels.   Love the top lever (vs button on side of receiver) break opens.

The Henry single shot is almost halfway there - just needs to ditch the manual hammer cocking and add the switch-barrel at a reasonable price point WITHOUT having to ship the darn thing back to the factory for fitting.

My fuddish choice would be the Marble's Gamegetter. I think the big gun control law under Roosevelt killed it off. Neat little folding  pack gun.

Handled one of those at Crane NSWC in the late '90s. We had built up the SEALs some Barrett M95's. I took them to Crane to deliver them and show a few SEALs the ins and outs of them.

The projects manager John  let me see the room with a bunch of cool toys.

Had one of those a long time ago. It was a great woods rifle. Took a bunch of deer with the one I had in the early '80s.  Ended up trading it straight across for an M1A in the late '80s.

I miss that Ruger.

No kidding. I replaced my stock but the forearm is splintered like an old bamboo pole.

I got to hold one when a Carabinieri Sargent handed it to me so he could kick the crap out of a drunk sailor that laid hands on him. The Beretta was surprisingly heavy for it's size. Never got to shoot one.

De Lisle style 9mm but with a standard barrel threaded for a can.  I would love to have a pistol version to SBR.

Or just a bolt action 9mm in general.

Semi auto SA80 would be a cool bullpup. As an added bonus if they didn’t run right you could send it to HK to be reworked for an authentic experience.
