Rasheed  carbine.  It's the gun the SKS should have been.  IIRC less than 10,000 were made.

I got to shoot one that a friend owned.

A lightly modernized pump action .357, .44, or .45 Colt rifle would be awesome. Great range toy, great hunting rifle, good HD rifle for people in bad legislative conditions, and probably a kickass suppressor host, too.

Never held one, but always wanted a 1903. And seems like it would be a great CCW piece.

The one my friend had was really nice--he even said that it was kind of a special one. It was as nice as the best Soviet SKS I'd ever seen. Idiot sold it--and not to me! Bastard!

If those don’t count for what OP is looking for I’d love to see a bunch of 8 and 4 gauge shotguns and ammo to mess around with. Because why not.

Those are Striker-12 models.  See that rectangular thing?  That’s for the auto-eject to catch the fired shotshell and drop it down instead of back at the shooter.  The Streetsweeper never had that.

Also, as a former Striker-12 owner, try one before you buy.  They look wicked, but are very heavy and can be finicky.  Not trying to shit on your dream gun, but check it out first before going through the trouble to find one.

Yes to both/all three.

I think the Stoner has won the thread. Though I would like to see Daewoos as well. Either weapon could easily be a PSA product.

Oh I shot a Cobray and am well aware they are trash. I just grabbed the pics off the net. Actually contacted Penn Arms about a Striker and they made it clear they wouldn't sell to a lowly civilian.

Imagine a 1941 Johnson that you can load it's rotary magazine and snap a M14 magazine  into the feed port so as the ten in the rotary feed out the m14 magazine starts feeding into the rotary ( yes it would be made in 7.62x51 to make it work

That’s the softest shooting 357 I’ve ever shot.

It’s a shame that gun didn’t get bought out and made be a bigger company.

Strong rumor is he's thinking about starting up again. I managed to get one before they closed up. Prices on them, and the mags are crazy right now.

Gas system is just a regular piston, IIRC.  The weirdness is in the pivoting grip and sights, so the mag doesn't get in the way while you're trying to fend off that commie horde hunting your downed aircraft.

So this was my instinctive choice.

Upon reflection I changed my mind.

I would need a very thorough modernization program... so basically just the operating system... but this:
