View Quote Seeing this choice, scrolling up and seeing OP say "compact", not "subcompact" or "micro": some clarification seems to be in order. OP, do you want a compact 9mm? Or do you want one that disappears? They're not the same thing. Edit: and I see RikWriter brought up the same point. Plus the title got changed. Thanks, OP. 365 seems like a good candidate. Or Rohrbaugh, LOL. |

Not owning or trying a 365, the PM9 would be my vote. (Just get a good one. Sacrifice a chicken ahead of time if you have to.) I'll check it out. Thanks! |

Check out the IWI Masada Slim 9S. Fantastic gun, great company. 13+1, great trigger, 3.4" bbl.
It runs CZ75 mags for cheap range use, too. Very slim grip, controls are easy for me to reach (small hands). Shield micro red dot cut. Under 400 dollars. It's really nice. |

I love my VP9SK, but it is a bit bulky compared to the options OP is looking at.
I've got a green Sig 365 on its way to me soon to try out. |

I've got a CSX... but it cost more than $600.
Fucking inflation, how it work? |

G48 MOS, Hellcat Pro or 365XL.
I have the 48MOS and it shoots well for its size. Same with the hellcat(although I have the smaller hellcat, not the pro) |

But yeah, the G19 is really not that compact. I already have a M&P 9c, great gun, just looking for something smaller than that, that I can swap out my Bodyguard 380 for. I scrimped up some ducats, thought I’d throw it out to the Hive. I’m really hoping for a setup like the P365 so I can do that Wilson Combat frame swap. |

I've used the following for CCW over the years...
G19 Walther PPS.1 Walther PPS.2 S&W Shield.1 G43 G48 The P365 blows them all away IMO. I now have the 356X and X-Macro |
|
365x
Or spend a few extra bucks and get the 365 trigger module with lcarus grip and whatever slide/barrel makes you happy. People seem real happy with the PMM comp combo |
|
Hellcat Pro for me. I know why a number of people will have issues with Springfield, but in the case of what's available, i prefer it's grip and trigger to the others.

Wilson frame on a 365 would be ballin. |

No question - P365 is “the bomb” for a compact, carry pistola. I’ve found it surprising easy to shoot well. Typically (just due to basic physics) the small/lighter the handgun, the more spanky it becomes. The P365 is uniquely “shootable” to be so small. I’ve long been a fan of the G19 (love my old Gen. 2) but seriously, my P365 has completely replaced the G19 for real everyday carry.

The Walther PDP-F is interesting. Held one the other day and I'm thinking about picking one up. The grip is thinner than a double-stack Glock.
|
|
For me, it'd be a Glock 19 gen 3 or 5.
At first I didn't like Glocks, but I "learned" to shoot them and now they're my go-to. Fuckin things multiply like PSA ARs. |
|
I got a 365 for summer carry because the 43x was a tad too big.
Seems sweet so far besides the cost of mags and the mag release is a bit harder for me to hit without breaking grip but it's not really a big problem. Getting into wet and muddy season so I might ho back to the 43x soon. |

Something out of production but still around and available.

Actually under $600? Taurus g3c and an optic of your choice. Might even have enough left over for some ammo.
Otherwise, Hellcat. |

LC9s or whatever the current equivalent is now.
No longer a SIG fan with their constant model changes and no more support or doing the right thing with guns going off in holsters. |
