Quoted: LC9s or whatever the current equivalent is now. No longer a SIG fan with their constant model changes and no more support or doing the right thing with guns going off in holsters. View Quote Yes, that's the one. It works. It doesn't suck. It doesn't randomly fire on its own. It's very slim and compact. It's inexpensive. |

Quoted: You said compact but it sounds like you are actually looking for a subcompact. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Guy asks for a compact and the first post is a pistol that isn’t really a compact. I won’t be angry. I get it, some people love them some Glock. But yeah, the G19 is really not that compact. I already have a M&P 9c, great gun, just looking for something smaller than that, that I can swap out my Bodyguard 380 for. I scrimped up some ducats, thought I’d throw it out to the Hive. I’m really hoping for a setup like the P365 so I can do that Wilson Combat frame swap. You said compact but it sounds like you are actually looking for a subcompact. Noted, fellow pedant. (I just called a guy out for using “3x9” when he meant “3-9” so don’t think I’m dogging you ) I edited thread title but in my defense I did call the poll “micro-9s”. |

Glock 26
Since I already have a G17, G19, G45 I would like to have the 26 for mag compatibility and to carry off duty. I stupidly sold my G26 Gen3 a few years ago and regret it. Glock 26 Gen5 will be purchased first week in November. |

Poll says micro 9mm...in which case I'd make the argument for a P938 BRG. Sig actually calls it a micro-compact at this point. Out of OPs budget, retails for about $700. Steel, eight round pistol that disappears CCW. The Legion does away with the last bits of polymer, the trigger and mainspring housing, if you want to pony up for it.

Shield plus 3.1" optic ready plus nightsights bundle pack w/ 5 mags, or a G19.

Your poll speaks to Micro-9's, your heading speaks to compacts. Sig 365's & Hellcats are Micros. Compacts are CZ-P10-C size. Confusion is well, confusing.

Went with xds 45 a few years ago when I was looking for a sub. My buddy went with the 9. They both work fine but I can't say I would buy it again with today's choices.

Out of those P365X
i compared the X and XL and went with the XL |

Quoted: I got a 365 for summer carry because the 43x was a tad too big. Seems sweet so far besides the cost of mags and the mag release is a bit harder for me to hit without breaking grip but it's not really a big problem. Getting into wet and muddy season so I might ho back to the 43x soon. View Quote @JamesJones Look into an extended mag release. it made a world of difference for me. Currently out of stock but I went with this https://www.omahaoutdoors.com/vuurwapen-sig-p365-extended-mag-release-button-pyramid/ |

The P365 is the easy answer here. Parts swap your way from pocket pistol to duty-sized optics-ready compensated compact and everything in between.
That's not to say there's not other reasonable choices for a subcompact, but if there's one thing Sig gets right, it's ecosystem. |
|
The Sig is so good you don't even have to tell it to fire by pulling the trigger. It just knows!

I just got a p365x. For a small gun it shoots very well. Not nearly as snappy as I expected it to be. I dropped a mcarbo spring kit and trigger. It took the heaviness in the stock trigger and reduced the travel. It's accurate as well.
If I had it to do over I would have gotten the XL though. They are really nice shooting guns. Glocks and I just don't mesh. |

Glock 19.5 with RMR is what you seek.
Over budget with the rmr but you can add that later. |

Forget it's there and boom aqusition Becomes quick. Haven't noticed trigger everyone is different though. For me shield is best thing going Also not a Glock guy no idea if the come pre tapped for red dot. My eyes made me go red dot ugh Shield plus night sights red dot ready.. |

Out of your list I would go hellcat. Then 365xl. I own both.

Sig 365XL with the newer slide design that has the separate rear sight dovetail.
Then…buy a Macro grip module… |
