I’m not bugging out. They’ll have to come for me. On my home court.

Something that can be concealed easily so I don't look like a combatant if I'm on foot.
Something that can be used effectively from inside a vehicle if that is the case. Something with subsonic suppressed capabilities. 300 Blackout is obvious for shooting without attracting attention. Sandman S Aimpoint with magnifier Probably a Sig Rattler but might go with a ~7" SBR |

Whatever gives me the longest legs.
I’m too old to tango. Lugging around a 30lb rifle sucks….but firefights without air support nor artillery does not sound fun. |

Keltec p17 with GSL woodland and a romeozero mounted. I'll use it to get my choice of weapons.

Can't it wait until I've had my morning BM? Anyway - An AR worked well in 1969.
Attached File Does just fine today. Eagle Arms lower, rest of it is from a buddy's parts bin. ACOG. Has the pedigree of a yard dog. Attached File |

14.5” colt/Geissele URGI w/Razor 1-6, 45 degree offset RMR, Surefire can, sopmod stock
I know you just said rifle and optic, but figured I’d list everything else on my favorite gun in the safe while I was at it haha |

18" 6.5 Grendel 1-10 x 24. Ammo would become an issue but 5.56 would as well, so ak rail with 3x flip magnifier and red dot would be in my pack.

Sounds like the CQB areas are covered. I’d pick my Savage 10 .308 with a PA 3-18x50 BDC scope for a DMR.

HKg3. I'm not fucking around with 5.56 in the interior of BC.

Quoted: If I don't have to own the weapon than a KAC LMG with a TA33 If I do I'm bringing my KAC LPR with 1-10 https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/425212/20211016_135934-2132414.jpg View Quote |

I would have a real hard time deciding between these two. FN barreled 16", or the lighter 10.5".

10/22 takedown with red dot and suppressor.
light. handy. accurate. quiet. easy to carry/cache. lethal. |
|
If I’m bugging out why am I stopping to remove my offset red dot from the rifle it’s already attached to?

Quoted: I should have bought the LPR with Mod 3.1 rail I came across at the Dulles gun show in 2012. They are very nice rifles. I has ragrets. I like my 16"with ACOG/RMR a lot as well. |

I need an ACOG. |

Remington Nylon 66. No sense wasting decent guns on a suicide run. In any event, whatever guns I need will be plentifully laying around on the ground.

Sig Virtus in 5.56 with the 11.5” barrel and an Eotech exps. The Virtus easily folds and stores in a backpack and is combat effective out to 300 yards.

In this thread everyone should be UNGOVERNABLE, meaning, fuck the rules!

A Steyr Scout rifle in .308, complete with 2,5X Leupold IER, Ching sling, the whole nine yards. After all, if there was ever a contrived scenario that called for one quick shot and running like hell, this would likely be it.

Scar 17s sbr w sdn6 and either my 110g tsx rounds or 155 amax w variable optic

If we're limited to what's in the safe, my 14.5" SOCOM-barreled SP1 with Leupold 1-4 green Firedot and YHM can.
With light and sling of course. Attached File |

In a bug-out situation I'm afraid that not having all my meds would kill me long before anything else could.

Basic old school Colt with cheese grater, vickers, QD Aimpoint, BUIS and all the ammo I can load out

My 16" LWRCI AR15 with 1x8 Nightforce ATACR, can, and a few extra 2032 batteries. Easy choice.
Light enough, reaches out far enough, gets in close enough, can carry enough rounds, and brings down anything within the ao for food. |

Reality: My FrankenAR with Aimpoint pro.
Wish: M4A1 with Acog and M203. |
