If we get to carry modern ammunition in our vintage, gun, I’m going to go with the browning. Hi power.

If we have to carry vintage ammunition in our vintage gun, I’m gonna go with a 1911 and 45 ACP.

1911, because I get hammer bite from BHP.

I believe I can shoot the 1911 well enough to make up the difference in capacity. I also would maintain it carefully to achieve decent reliability.

I really can't decide between 1911 or high power. EDC now is 9mm 1911

For less discrete or open carry, 1911.

For concealed carry, S&W M&P.

Maybe a .38 Super Auto M1911 if I'm feeling like autopistol.
Too bad the Commander didn't exist until IIRC the late 40s or early 50s.

I'll belt carry the P-38, and keep the rest of those with me in a small bag.

Since I have all the options.

I'll probably take a Detective Special too, but no thanks on the Fitz package.

I kinda like my full trigger guards and hammer spurs.

ETA: I wonder how many guys pocket carrying a Fitz Special shot their dicks off back in the 1930s?
