At one point in my much younger years... Like the mid-80s, I wanted to be a cop. For the right reasons, you know: serve and protect. Of course, at my current age, I would be retired or at a desk job now. But why would any young dude want to be a cop right now? The guberment crucifies you, you can get arrested for doing your job well and be buried under the prison and you get almost no respect. I respect the police. They are our localities first line of defense. But this bullshit has to end.
