I agree, although I do post a lot of sources similar to Yon that paints Trump as just a different side to that same coin. He may be, but what other real alternative do we have? Trump is a hell of a lot better than some I’ve voted for in the past, like McCain & Romney. My disappointment with Trump’s first term came mostly from those surrounding him, including people I thought would be good picks, like Jeff Sessions as Attorney General. What a major disappointment he was! With Trump himself, my main disappointment came from him letting those people stick around & continuing to follow their advice when he should have lived up to his “The Apprentice” reputation of firing someone at least every week if not every day. With the way things are now as we get closer & closer to the abyss, at a minimum, a Trump win would at least delay the inevitable falling of the edge into that abyss. Outside of a Miracle, more time is really about the only hope we have left that we can somehow change our trajectory away from that abyss. My vote may not be enough but for now, it’s a very small effort in comparison to what will be required, otherwise. |

This was a very interesting podcast, mostly between two former CIA officers who discuss the inter-workings of the CIA and thought I’d share here. One interesting point was how John Brennan became the Director of the CIA. It won’t exactly give you a good feeling about the CIA.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some type of attack happens inside the US immediately after KH is declared the winner of the election and it’s clear that the US government will not change its policy on Ukraine. That would also give our government the excuse to potentially issue martial law. Of course, that’s on the condition that all hell doesn’t break loose before November.

Yes, it’s in the virtual world as well as in the real world. Driving around my area, I would never know it was an election year as I really haven’t seen political yard signs like I have in the past. Maybe that will change in October as we get closer to the 2024 election but in elections past, we were already awash in political yard signs with people flaunting their political identities. Not so much now. This election year has a very surreal feel to it in a creepy, twilight zone sort of way. |
