We have millions invading each year for the free stuff, and the FSA including college kids is rapidly gaining recruits.

They never think about where the money comes from, $ needed to pay for all their needs (wants).  Nor do they consider the undeniable fact that eventually the gov will run out of "someone else's money."  They chant "tax the rich; tax corporations" with zero consciousness of how all taxes levied on both is simply passed directly onto the middle class.

Is this really happening?  I don't see it anywhere else.  Seems kind of extreme.

I searched for something on this last night.  Only thing I found was the Sheriff’s Dept. threatening to arrest some reporters on grounds who didn’t have their credentials in order.

It’s probably related to that but the optics of deputies on rooftops can easily lead to posts like this, too.  I’m guessing there’ also a crowd gathered around the outer parameter as well.

Brazil's armed forces say disputes must be resolved through democratic rule of law

SAO PAULO (Reuters) - The three commanders of Brazil's armed forces released a joint statement on Friday in which they said that the solutions to Brazil's disputes must come from the democratic rule of law, while also affirming the right to peaceful protest.

Their statement came amid concerns about the role of Brazil's armed forces, which ran a military dictatorship from 1964 to 1985, during this year's presidential election. Outgoing President Jair Bolsonaro, himself a former army captain, had sought to involve the military in questioning Brazil's electronic voting system.

Bolsonaro narrowly lost the Oct. 30 vote to leftist rival Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, and although he did not concede, he did not block the handover of power. Some of his supporters, however, have refused to accept the result, and have camped outside military bases across Brazil, asking the military to intervene - a move they have so far not taken.

In the letter, signed by the heads of Brazil's army, navy and air force, the three commanders wrote that the Brazilian constitution guarantees freedom of expression and the right to peacefully demonstrate.

"The Brazilian constitution established the responsibilities and rights to be observed by all Brazilians and that must be guaranteed by the institutions, especially with regard to the free expression of thought, freedom to protest peacefully, and freedom of movement within the national territory," they wrote.

"The Armed Forces remain vigilant, alert, and focused on their constitutional role in guaranteeing our sovereignty, order, and progress, always in defense of our people," they added.

I think I understand what he is saying.  It sounds like he thinks digital coin is just fine as long as it is not tied to your ID.  But once they tie the two together, then your political opponents can destroy you.  I frankly don't see the problem with Dollars, unless I am in the business of crushing dissent with an iron boot.  So in that case, yeah, it would be easy to bankrupt your opposition, which is frankly what we are talking about.  If you have $100,000 in Digital ID based coin, and you aren't allowed to spend it, then you are effectively bankrupt.

Clearly this is leading up to the tribulation.  I don't think we are anywhere near there yet, but this seems to be part of a real push to get us there.

I agree, plus the push for a global government with authoritarian control that we can clearly see. These things plus the push for technology to make all of this possible should be pretty obvious, even to the layman.

Yet, there was more outcry from the churches over the introduction of MasterCard than with what’s happening now.  Maybe the Bible saying something about those with a reprobate mind may also be applicable here? There’s definitely plenty of those with that in today’s world.

I keep being reminded of what someone posted on this site way back in 2020 that if it ever started, AZ would be the place that the CW would start.

Wars have started over less.

Several good points are made in the video such as countries aligning themselves against other countries (similar to the video posted above), age of weapons used and seized in Ukraine battles, military budgets and money spent towards war, Sunak publicly pulled out of a conference, multiple submarines from multiple countries catching on fire, etc..., all things the regular media doesn’t cover for some reason.

I think he’s right - the media is manipulating the public with stories intended  to distract from a coming world war that will affect us all.

Economic wars turn into conventional wars.

Synopsis:  Germany was contractually obligated to ship LNG to India. Due to the crisis in Ukraine, Germany opted to pay a penalty instead. India is finding that the penalty payments from Germany are not sufficient to pay the inflated spot prices for LNG at the current time. They want to try and force Germany to ship the LNG regardless. It also states they reached out to Russia to replace it’s missing stocks of energy. There was no mention whatsoever of how Russia responded.  

I am sure Russia would be glad to sell liquid natural gas to India. The problem is getting it there since there are no relevant pipelines. I am sure that is where Germany’s ships came into play. Maybe they could ask Germany to buy liquid natural gas to put in their ships for delivery to India only.  Heh.

And there are billions of poor fools that will agree to it.

Local butcher said if you think prices are bad now, give it 2 months. Hence the reason we buy quarter or half beefs.

I find him less than convincing, at least on the details. For example, when discussing the Chinese and American landing ships that caught fire, he declares that as tit for tat sabotage, which is assuming facts which are not in evidence.  Frankly, when he makes that kind of connection, he sounds like, “I’m not saying it’s aliens China, but it’s aliens China.”

That stated, I think his conclusions that the media is hiding a lot of what is going on may be right. There is plenty of evidence of that.

Sounds like Britain may be in for a rough year ahead - Russia sanctions on oil & gas begin, civil servants strike, nursing strike, railroad strike, police attrition, etc...

I’m not even halfway through the podcast, either.

That’s why I say all media is basically propaganda to one extent or another.  They all want the viewer to reach a certain conclusion that is being lead by their report.  Just pick you poison.

I think the main thing is getting information from alternate sources so one can construct as many pieces of the puzzle as they can in order to see what’s the big picture looks like.  Sometimes, cross referenced stories really hi-lite the shortcomings of some sources.  I’ve definitely seen that a time or two.

Having said that, I’m quite guilty of leading to a certain conclusion with many of my posts as well.  Sometimes, I expect to get a little pushback and sometimes, I get it, too.

So many of these videos are just one blogger after another rehashing the same Yon & Zeihan talking points.  

This one is different and I encourage everyone to watch these. This is new data, not a rehash.

Synopsis:  the Tonga eruption in January of this year is a much bigger deal  than everyone thought. Well, actually, that’s not true. It was memory holed after three days, and the collected climate data cut off to the public after May.  What gives:  the vast amount of water vapor hoisted to unprecedented heights far above regular clouds is affecting, and in the coming year will continue to affect, the amount of solar radiation striking the ground by about one to two watts per square meter throughout the Southern Hemisphere. That may not sound like much unless you are a plant. For plants, it means a major decrease in crops harvested.

Unlike most bloggers, he really chased down the data for everything he says, and IMO, is very convincing.  He really gets into the weeds breaking down the data to demonstrate his points are not doomer talk or click bait. He is worth watching for yourself so you can see how he arrives at his conclusions.

It occurred to me while listening to this that our crops are not immune, even though they will not be affected by this eruption.  Most crops are world wide commodities, and thus will sell to the highest bidder world wide. So our poor, struggling farmers in America will happily get back some of the losses incurred over the last year.  Of course, the poor starving Africans won’t be able to compete in a bidding war, so they are just out of luck. But there are many other food importers around the world who can and will drive up the price of food here. Expect calls from hungry people for the Biden administration to ban food exports.  Expect them to do it. The blogger says Ration Cards are coming. He may be right.

ETA:  Actually, I should have stated the Biden administration will likely ban private sales of commodities to overseas markets, emphasis on private. I expect the administration to regulate all commodities sales so the government will determine which nations get the food and how much they will have to pay for it.  That does not mean we will benefit from any decisions made in Washington.
