The Desert Fighter was made by Mark Hazen of Charlotte, North Carolina for me in 2003.  The requirements and specifications were totally of my choosing.

The knife specifications are as follows:
•154CM blade with an effective cutting length of 8 3/8”
•7 half serrations in the hollow ground .200 thick blade
•False edge of 4 ½” which is razor sharp
•Black linen Micarta scales pinned in two places with a thong hole
•Overall length of 14 ¼”
•Right hand carry leather sheath with a partial shield and snap retainer

I don't know if Mark still makes Customs as he markets mid-techs.  This is my Bug-Out Bag Baby!

Finally had time to tear them apart and get the Southards to a decent point.  May make some changes down the road.

Those Southards look really good. The CF lockbar stabilizer has a crazy pattern.

I originally thought I was going to mod out mine I just haven't gotten around to it yet. It's just an all around great knife

I'm late for Carbon Fiber Friday. This is the only time I've ever used it. This is one of the many knives I made for personal use that ended up in anothers collection.

I like composite pictures like these.  Now the my Crusader Forge VIS-T finally returned from its spa trip, I figured it was time to give it a carry or two.  It is my favorite folder but it is very hard for me to not carry my Hoback Kwaiback.  Just a sick blade.  The pistol is an HK USP Expert 9mm that I recently acquired.  Handfit barrel and slide from HK plus a match trigger and a 5” slide makes for a very accurate gun.

You can figure out the rest.

That's pretty cool.

I'd see myself twirling it like a gunslinger and it flying off of my finger and lodging into something important to my body.

In all seriousness that's a great looking knife. I'm not an antler guy but it really compliments the pattern in the steel

That is a large Saber Tooth. Typically the blade is 3.4 inches, the body is about 4.4 inches and open it would be about 7.8 inches.

Love it! I just wish the rear guard was lower so you can fully choke up to make use of that finger choil... kinda wasted imo. I sold my Attack 18 for this reason.. and no knifemaker would grind it down for me so I sold her off
