It is on washers, but at least with mine, it may as well be on bearings its so smooth and slick. The 0560/0561 is taller, on a flipper, not as pointy at the tip of the blade, and is on bearings. They are both terrific knives.

For scales, if you can wait a few weeks, https://g10.lt makes excellent scales in Lithuania, but they are made to order and take a little time to get here. Top notch work, though, and between material and milling pattern (if desired) there are about a bazillion options.

First test of my new carbide counterbore. Cost me $150 total but it will make these pivots a lot better than I could do with just standard drill bits

Tested it in a scrap piece of Ti that I broke a tap in over Christmas break first.

A friend of mine in high school mas an aluminum bat that cracked. We were at a bonfire and he threw it in the fire. It didn’t like that. Someone grabbed it out and hit a tree and it started breaking apart. Soon there was only a bat handle with a bunch of crazy metal shards sticking all over. He kept that in his Jeep until a cop confiscated it.

I think you should keep that in your car when you’re done with it.

Sights are one of the main things my wife loved about Glock. When I was trying to convert her I had to add some Glock style sights to a Walther P99AS. Still wasn't enough.

Here they are.

Both belong to a local friend now.

The one on the bottom is the famous "garage sale" knife, a 1960's Lawndale, Ca. Loveless.

The one above, another genuine Loveless.

bad pics, some blade damage to the crooked point skinner on the bottom

but who gets to own two Loveless knives?   Not me!

I've managed to talk him out of selling either one of them. (pats self on back)

440C stop pin is pulling double duty. Stops it in open position and it stops the blade from contacting G10 spacer when closed.

Pretty much done with what I need to do today, will probably heat treat the blade this evening once it’s dark.
