It is on washers, but at least with mine, it may as well be on bearings its so smooth and slick. The 0560/0561 is taller, on a flipper, not as pointy at the tip of the blade, and is on bearings. They are both terrific knives. For scales, if you can wait a few weeks, https://g10.lt makes excellent scales in Lithuania, but they are made to order and take a little time to get here. Top notch work, though, and between material and milling pattern (if desired) there are about a bazillion options. First test of my new carbide counterbore. Cost me $150 total but it will make these pivots a lot better than I could do with just standard drill bits
Attached File Tested it in a scrap piece of Ti that I broke a tap in over Christmas break first. |

We were at a bonfire and he threw it in the fire. It didn’t like that. Someone grabbed it out and hit a tree and it started breaking apart. Soon there was only a bat handle with a bunch of crazy metal shards sticking all over. He kept that in his Jeep until a cop confiscated it. I think you should keep that in your car when you’re done with it. |

Should look like this when done
Time to cut out this 26c3 and 410 stainless San mai and start on the blade. Then I need to fit them together nicely… lots of detailed file work in my future Attached File |
