Just got it. WiC hooked me up with a deal that he found. He continues to push the Emerson crack...lol. I have to say, with the few quirks, that they are going to take over my pocket. The grip comfort and the easy sharpening can win you over pretty quick.

I don't have to speculate on "would you replace it if lost?" for one of mine.

Nice!

Might I suggest, assuming you’ll make it again, to slice the egg thinner and use long thin slices of onion. You can also be generous with oregano and drizzled olive oil on top.

Looks good. Really good.

ETA I like olives but think they’re a bit better as halves on pizza rather than wholes.

I do like sweet baby rays, especially as a 40/60 mix with buttermilk ranch as a dipping sauce, but my spouse refuses to buy anything with corn syrup so it’s a rare occasion to see it in my refrigerator.

Thanks for the suggestions.

On the egg, I had intended to, but that was the best I could do with a paring knife without smashing the egg. I used to have one of those handy little wire egg slicers but it broke and I never replaced it.

On the onion I just chopped up what I had left in the fridge so couldn't go the long thin route this time even if I'd known to, but I'll keep that in mind.

It was pretty tasty, I'll make it again sometime for sure.

Edit: those were half olives, I just laid them out facing down. Whole would have been way too strong. I will probably just slice them next time.

Good to know! There was a thread a while ago asking about their CS with a lot of bad reports (a lot of them not first hand). Was that you? Anyway, it's always good to hear that someone was treated right.

Yes it was me! The tip of my blade was also bent and they fixed that too! I really can’t complain besides having to pay for shipping (one way), which I understand. They had excellent comms too.

I've made it a couple times, it's definitely good, but haven't gotten around to it again. Did one that was kind of Asian influenced that was really good. Once that bottle of cookies is gone I might do another batch.

They both have the same texture issue for me. I like eggs, and hardboiled eggs with salt and pepper, egg salad, and deviled eggs, and yet not eggs sliced on a salad at all. So maybe but very questionable on the eggs. I've used snap peas on pizza but if I'm doing green peas why stop - might add some mashed potatoes, gravy, and bacon too.

I can't stand cooked peas. Takes all of the flavor out and results in a nasty texture. Raw sweet peas are delicious.
